I'm curious about it too - just can't find a place to do so.

Anyway, someone taught me that you should avoid the mushrooms that has unnatural colors (e.g. bright red) and those that has a sticky, moist feeling when you touch it. These are poisonous.

If I'm not wrong there's a poisonous mushroom called "dead man's mushroom". That's because its color resembles that of rotting flesh (pale grey). Many have died because they have eaten it.

All in all if only Man did not sin in the first place, we won't have to worry about poisons anymore.

Why do you have to hunt so much.... just read the signs. Fresh Mushrooms are in the produce section and canned shrooms are on aisle 2. :wink:

:lol::lol::lol: Now that's my style of hunting. :lol::lol::lol:

Just look at the advantages::::

#1. We don't have to go traipsing thru the woods.

#2. We don't have to worry about whose land we're on.

#3. We don't have to bring a pig along to root out the truffles. :wink: :mrgreen: :lol:

#4. We don't have to spend all day at it.

#5. We can get exactly as many as we want.

YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY, I looooooooooove 'shrooms. :mrgreen: :sing: :mrgreen: :sing: :mrgreen: :sing: :mrgreen: :sing: :mrgreen:

I was watching the news once and they talked about this health guru who had picked out mushrooms from his yard I believe, and told everyone how healthy it was for us to eat it. He died not too long after.

sad :(

My son ate a mushroom from our backyard when he was a baby (he was on videotape too. you should seen how I panic!)

the poison control told us on the phone the mushroom that we described will not hurt him and gave us signs to look for just in case.
