Please pray for us! We are having a Christmas Church Family lunch at our home on Sunday 23rd. We are having several unsaved people coming and needless to say Satan is not happy! :badday: I have been really sick the first half of this week and several things that we have had prearranged are looking like falling through. These things are essential to the success of the day. Would you pray for us?
I have finally regained my strength tonight and still have all the cooking ahead of me as well as my other responsibilites. Dave had taken this week off work to finnish the outside preperations and has been twiddling his thumbs the last couple of days because these items have not been delivered.
If you think of us we would apreciate your prayers. Thankyou.

Thanks for prayers.

A couple of phone calls this morning and everything is now supposed to be delivered today.

They are not here yet but both are organised and promised! :roll

Now I need to get about three days work done in a day and a half and Lee-Anne has about three days cooking to do - which I will probably eat most of to keep up my strength!:lol:

Thanks again for those prayers, but mostly we will be having some unsaved people coming along and we want to be a good testimony and havea "Christmas story" - you know Grandpa (me probably) sitting down reading the story from the Bible.
A lot of fun stuff but the focus for us is the share the Lord.

Thanks,

Dave.

We got enough finished - although not everything.

We had many unsaved people come along - family of our church people mostly, and a few even came to church before our lunch - and I preached about the things that Mary kept in her heart and pondered - until she saw those things made clear upon the cross.

I think and hope that it was clear, and it was heard, but no "up front response".

And those who came along for the afternoon seemed to enjoy themselves, and hopefully we were able to strengthen some relationships.

Thanks all for the prayers.

David and Lee-Anne.
