A bit hot in Southwest Arkansas

It's supposed to be kind of nice here this week...except today. It stormed this morning (we needed the rain!) and ist' supposed to get sunny and hot later. As of 9 this morning, it was only 72, so I don't know...it could be a scorcher today. And it's almost always really humid here when it's hot.

72! We didn't even get down to 72 for our LOW last night. Our LOW was in the upper 70s.

We don't usually at this time of year, either! I was glad to see it...but I am dreading later. Sometimes it spikes pretty quickly here, and it is pretty humid even now. The sky looks like it's going to rain again, which I won't mind because at least the sun won't be making it worse. :badday:

I know what you mean. The other morning a thunderstorm popped up, temps dropped to the low 70s, the wind blew, a half-dozen drops of water fell, and that was that. By noon we were scorching hot again. :sad

Beautiful weather in Western PA this week.

Today's high is supposed to be 80. It's 78 and sunny right now.
Tomorrow high of 84. Then cooler every day till Friday when the high is forecast to be 74. Kinda cool for August here. It's usually too hot to do anything.

One more hot day is on tap for Monday with afternoon highs from 101-104 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy with east winds at 5-10 mph. Rainfall chances will be very slim.

Relief from the heat could come as early as Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 90s through the end of the week. Rainfall chances may go up a bit, as well.

Cleveland, OH is---78 now, with a high of 87. It is very muggy today, as usual. The temperatures are low---but, the humidity factor is high. :gross:

Today we moved my sister into her house on "Post" It was 102 degrees and who knows how high the index was...lets just say I am sunburnt to a crisp.

Eastern Oregon ran about 98 today. Its almost 10:00 pm and its still 90. usually cools off to 65 during the night but not tonight :frog
