Members Invicta Posted June 26, 2016 Author Members Posted June 26, 2016 The EU want to inflict punishing terms on the UK to deter other nations from following suit as there have already been calls for referendums in Danmark, Nederland, Italia, France and Hungary, Quote
Administrators HappyChristian Posted June 26, 2016 Administrators Posted June 26, 2016 I am glad for UK. And I hope things go very well, even thought it's going to be bumpy for a while. Quote
Members swathdiver Posted June 27, 2016 Members Posted June 27, 2016 It's a good thing for Britons that there is not a President Lincoln in Brussels! There are however, many admirers of Lincoln in Brussels and elsewhere that may not react kindly if this freedom movement were to spread. Hooray for the British! heartstrings 1 Quote
Members Invicta Posted June 27, 2016 Author Members Posted June 27, 2016 The bumpy ride has started. Lots of resignations in the Labour party. The EU has already said we should have another referendum. They did that in Danmark and in Ireland and both had a second referendum and the result in both was reversed. I think they may find the British may be a different matter. Quote
Members Invicta Posted June 27, 2016 Author Members Posted June 27, 2016 Tony Blair (known as B-Liar) has said we should have referendums till we get the right result. Quote
Members swathdiver Posted June 28, 2016 Members Posted June 28, 2016 The central planners (Communists) have lost their biggest cash cow, that is why they are up in arms. But now the shape of your bananas are safe as are your tea pots. Commies are always sore losers and if voter and election fraud didn't turn it their way, the next time they'll just cheat even more. That's the only reason Democrats get elected in the United States, through voter and election fraud. Not that the other side doesn't do it, they just do it much better. heartstrings 1 Quote

Well, what happened in Britain is a bit different than what happened here in the US: the EU is a voluntary coalition of NATIONS, who really should have the right to be in or out as they choose, as they are, at the end of the day, individual nations, whereas in the States, these are not, nor were meant to be, individual nations, but UNITED states, under a single overall federal government. Of course we can argue all day as to what the real reasons were for separating, if it was legal or not, how much slavery had to do with it ultimately, but we were never meant to be separate nations, so there was a little more at stake here. Also history tells us that had the US become two countries, it would have so weakened us that both sides would have been quickly invaded and destroyed, which is why the Catholics and others were on the side of the South and their separation-because there would no longer be a United States-then had they attacked one side or the other, they would have probably gotten assistance from the other, which would then be attacked as well. The US isn't near to what it once was, but the destruction of the country would have been much quicker and would have never been more than South America, a bunch of small individual third-world countries. Or such is how I see it. Quote
Members swathdiver Posted July 1, 2016 Members Posted July 1, 2016 The states indeed are/were sovereign and could freely leave the union. History records many decades in the years before the War of Northern Aggression of states threatening to leave the union. And if it were not legal or supposed, then why all the calls to enact laws prohibiting such? No, the Declaration of Independence itself makes clear that participation in the union is/was voluntary. When the southern states seceded, they formed a new country, a new covenant between those former member states of the United States. It is not correct to call the conflict a Civil War, as the yankees invaded and conquered a sovereign nation, the Confederate States of America. The victors however rewrote the history books, there is little mention that Lincoln's army was full of communists nor of the horrific atrocities committed against Christians in the Confederacy by the yankee devils. Indeed, after that horrible war, the United States has never been the same, her citizens losing freedoms their offspring never knew existed. The southern way of life was changed forever. Slavery around the world was being ended peacefully and naturally, but that nefarious yankee Lincoln shed much blood and treasure when such was not necessary. heartstrings 1 Quote

I thought that the secession was a Jesuit plot, and when they lost the Catholics assassinated Lincoln. Quote

It is not commies that are the problem, it is the Catholics. Remember that the original treaty that eventually led to the EU was the Treaty of Rome. No coincidence, I believe. The EU flag is a RC flag. It is the 12 stars often seen around the head of the head of the RC statues of Mary and is taken from a stained glass window in Strasbourg Cathedral. I read a booklet recently that said the EU was a Jesuit plot. Certainly since the fall of the Roman Empire, apart from the Turkish invasions all attempts to take over Europe and especially England have been from Rome.. Hitler's 3rd Reich was RC mostly run by the Jesuits. The EU is an attempt to obtain all that Hitler did except by stealth. That is why we call it the 4th Reich. Quote
Members swathdiver Posted July 10, 2016 Members Posted July 10, 2016 Jesuits I believe were the ones that originally coined the term, "the ends justify the means". Satan runs all of these fools and it would not surprise me in the least to learn of their co-mingling even when they fight each other. Quote
