So when reading we see four types of grounds that the seed fell upon.  After struggling with a sin, since coming to Christ I really wonder if i am one of the 3 bad grounds.  What little I know of Scripture tells me when dealing with this sin of fornification (porn addiction) God will help to provide an answer, I Corithians 7:2; Hebrews 13:4 but as I continue in a losing battle, I not only learn to hate myself, but I don't fell to kind toward God.  This sin controls my members so that i am in bondage to it, .   Romans. 6:13 just waiting for God great judgment as I havre pleaded for mercy, . I Corinthians 3;16-17

it must be hard to admit this... but God will give you the victory over this if you really confess and give it to Him... stay away from these web sites... delete them from your computer... may God help you. I have been praying for you and your family

I commend you for admitting this!  the problem is, that it is truly an ADDICTION, just like alcoholism or drug abuse.  It acts in the same way.  Only a few rare occasions do people with addictions gain victory without any kind of medical intervention.  While this addiction doesn't necessarily need "medical" intervention, you do need to seek help.  There are things to do to limit your ability to access your stimulant.  You need help to develop coping strategies and thinking through how to avoid things that will trigger the behavior, etc.  The best thing to do is to seek out a Christian counselor, or if there aren't any available or money is an issue, then finding a pastoral counselor would be another route.  I will certainly be praying for you!

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 1 Timothy 6:11

Notice in this matter the Lord tells us to FLEE. That means get away from it, put distance between you and the temptation to sin, run away from the door of temptation. Don't open that door, don't peek inside.

In what manner are you feeding this sin? Where and when is the temptation greatest? FLEE from these things.

If you need to place a filter on your computer that will block porn, do so immediately. If you need to drop access to porn on TV, do so now. If you have magazines or videos which lead you into temptation and sin immediately remove them to a trash can you won't be able to retrieve them from. If you have subscriptions to anything bringing this stuff to you immediately cancel them.

We all sin, Scripture is clear on that. We all have besetting sins, Scripture is clear on that too. Scripture is equally clear that doesn't mean we aren't saved. Like all sin in our lives the only way to gain the victory is to make a determined decision to do what it takes to defeat that sin. If we stumble, as we often do, we must determine to repent, ask the Lord to strengthen us in our inner man, and set our feet back on the path of righteousness.

While the battle may be difficult, while it can seem like a losing fight, the very fact you recognize the problem and are seeking help is clear evidence the Spirit of God is working in you to help you deal with this. We find ourselves free from some sins with relative ease while others put up a much stronger resistance.

Don't give up. Thank God for each and every time to have even tiny victory in this area. Pray and pray often and continually over this matter. Strive to reach the point where as soon as you feel tempted to this sin you immediately pause and pray to the Lord for help. Then take action by separating yourself from the ability to sin: FLEE!

Our Lord will never leave you nor forsake you. He is with you, He is your ever present help in time of trouble. Call upon Him. Meditate upon the Scriptures in this post. Do the same with other Scriptures that are a help to you. Quote Scripture and pray against this, FLEE the temptation and sin. God will bring you through this. Draw close to God, obey Him and the devil himself will FLEE!

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

I will be praying for you...
