  1. Ronda and Critical Mass since you both have hit on the first point of my 3 part problem I will just say yes I ask to consume it upon my lust, but when I read I Corinthians 7:2 and Hebrews 13:4 along with I Thessalonians 4:3 I cannot understand at my age and being a normal guy with urges, i am just tired of acting as if God hears my prays yet burning in my own lust. My 2nd and 3rd problems just help to contribute to the confusion because they are both great roadblocks to the first. And while I can honestly say many believers suffer from my first and 3rd problem, very few experience t
  2. Hirherto have ye ask nothing in My Name, ask and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24 To not be able to bring our needs to the Father thru the Redeemet Jesus Christ is too never have full joy.
  3. So after a spiritual high last week the likes which I have never seen; it was followed by such a lou that I have told God I hate Him. I have left my first love and if not for the worst nightmare ever I probably wouldn't even care or be writing this. A childhood dream I have is all .but left in dust. Barring a miracle from God nothing has or will happen. And like I said if not for not a nightmare I wouldn't be here I have fear of God but little or no love forH Him.
  4. So when reading we see four types of grounds that the seed fell upon. After struggling with a sin, since coming to Christ I really wonder if i am one of the 3 bad grounds. What little I know of Scripture tells me when dealing with this sin of fornification (porn addiction) God will help to provide an answer, I Corithians 7:2; Hebrews 13:4 but as I continue in a losing battle, I not only learn to hate myself, but I don't fell to kind toward God. This sin controls my members so that i am in bondage to it, . Romans. 6:13 just waiting for God great judgment as I havre pleaded for mercy, . I C
  5. In the OT Job cry the following: 32) For He is not a man, as i am, that I should answer Him, and we should come together in judgment. 33) Neither is there any Daysman betwixt us, that might lay His hand upon us both. Job 9:32-33 When Job make this statement He crying for someone that is a Daysman who could both be God and Man, so as to understand both parties, and mediate between both. So in the New Testament we see Paul speaking of Jesus Christ as the Man (I Timothy 2:5) and part of the Trinity/Godhead (Galatians 3:20) who mediated between both parties. For no mediator is one yet t
  6. Yes I agree, but I know that IFB follow the Bible as closely as anybody else, and hoping to be corrected if i am wrong about this, it is probably the only reason i am not in their church, but that may be my mistake, because the Independent Baptist are very if not the strongest group I have seen at being witnessed to the World. Which is the Great Commission given to the Church.
  7. There have already been many good Scriptures posted. So just a few more. 6) For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 So that we know that Mighty God is the same as Almighty God we see Jehovah called Mighty God in Isaiah 10:21, so yes Jesus is called God in this passage of Isaiah along with Isaiah 40:3; 44:6; 48:16-17. And John calls Jesus God in John 8:58; I John 5:7 I know many try to question I John 5:7
  8. So I have a question concerning Luke 21:20-24 and pre-trib Rapture view. 20) And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21) Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not then that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22) For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23) But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land; and wrath up
  9. 13) But, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 14) For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. 15) But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. Galatians 5:13-15 Perhaps Paul is referring to the fact that in Christ Jesus we have liberty, that is the freedom that we have to make certain choices. For we see Paul referring to our being servant and free in I Corinthians 7:21-24. For remember that Paul states
  10. Don't forget we see a couple verses later the writer of Hebrews saying of our Savior God the following: But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Hebrews 2:9 IMO this really give the believer a great answer to a Jehovah Witness of why Jesus called the Father greater than Himself in John 14:28. For because of His love for us all, the Word became flesh, John 1:1-18 thus He who was rich became poor (II Corinthians 8:9) that we who trust Him are made rich
  11. US Air Force, than got a little dense and joined the US Army, nothing wrong with the Army but the Air Force was so much easier.
  12. In the Book of Hosea, God gives a strange command to His prophet, he was commanded by God to marry a wife of whoredoms, in the first two chapters it deals with Hosea sadness but in the third chapter Hosea's wife Gomer is restore to him. Chapter 4-14 deal with how the children of Israel were guilty of the same acts that Gomer had committed against Hosea, only they committed adultery against God. But if your wife is not a believer and she wants to leave God states you are not under bondage in such cases, I Corinthians 7:13-16. God give Christian man the toughest command to follow before he mar
  13. Charles Grandison Finney is credited with starting easy believism. Although I think this as been unjustly given to the man. For Finney would hold a meeting and invite people to accept Jesus as their Savior. But we as believers must remember that yes a Christians we can't lose our salvation but that is because our hearts are the good ground that the Seed falls on see Luke 8:8,!5; the Seed of course being the God's Word. The rest of the passage of Luke 8:3-15 speaks of those who would follow under easy believism. IMO this is what the writer of Hebrews was writing about in Hebrews 6:4-6. Jo
  14. This is what I have understand IFB Churches too agree on as a whole. And with the exception of the first two underlined, I entirely agree with them, not a KJVO, but a Textus Receptus Only, so that I also like translations such as the Geneva Bible, and Webster Translation, and happen to be more into Covenant Theology. But after reading a defend on another forum about the end times where he complain that Dispensationalist don't preach the Gospel enough (which is not true) not sure if the 2nd one is that important because when I was involved in an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church I was ve
  15. Yet this same Jesus in His pre incarnated form as the Word calls not only Himself but the Father and the Spirit God in the Book of Isaiah: 16) Come ye near unto Me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret, from the time that it was, there Am I: and the Lord GOD, and His Spirit hath sent Me. 17) Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer , the Holy One of Israel, I Am the LORD thy God which teacheth the to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. Isaiah 48:16-17
