Okay, so I had a thought today, so take it for what its worth, but I thought I'd throw it up here and see what replies might come about from it.  I have no idea if anyone else has thought of it, but since there's 'nothing new under the sun", I doubt I am the first to consider it.

 

Neandertal (sic) Man-we know this guy lived, or people, since people of this, I guess, type, have been found around the world. Obviously, evolutionists believe that this was a pre-modern man-type creature, that may or may not, (depending on who you ask) have been in the line of 'modern man'. But we don't hold to that evolutionary junk.

 

However, we DO know that there are things about these people that are very similar, but some things a bit different from 'modern humans', (not that there is anything but modern humans). But there are some differences, as through they were a somewhat different race of man, but of a race we don't have today, that we are aware of.

 

Hence, my speculation: What if the Neandertal, as they are known by science, was the offspring of Noah and Mrs. Noah, (Joan...get it?) but not of Ham, Shem, or Japheth? Since the earth was to be populated by the three sons blessed of God, it would be their offspring that would populate the earth, but what if Noah and his wife had another child, or children? They had hundreds of years to have them, and while the Bible doesn't say one way or another, (yes I know it is safest to assume they didn't, but I'm not creating doctrine here, just playing), might it be that they had another child, or children, but since it was not to be through their offspring that the world would be populated, their offspring lived a few hundred years, and died off? Thus, Neandertal would have been fully human, as much as anyone else, with the possibility of sharing some racial distinctions in DNA?

Actually, the neandertal were kind of short and thick-averaged about 5'6"-5'8", but thick built, probably very strong, which is why people think they were like cavemen. See, many researchers who really do the research say that  some of the features show great age, like the thickened brow ridge, which, as one gets very old, tends to thicken, as does the nose, though that doesn't tend to stay around. They were suspected to get to around 200 years, which would place them after the flood, between probably Peleg and Abram when they died out, per my theory/speculation/whatever you want to call it. Of course, that would mean that some of them lived longer before that, but who knows-their ages are speculation-after all, what features would someone 500 years old have?

Devils are the spirits of angels who rebelled against God and were cast out with Lucifer/Satan. There are no fallen angels mentioned in Genesis 6; only sons of God and giants. The son of GOD were beleivers and the giants were big/tall people.

Mike, ever been to Walmart?  Sure you have, now next time look at the people.  There's all kinds, short, tall, fat, skinny, lanky, stocky, narrow hips and some wide as a truck, normal and Down Syndrome types, stands tall and hunched over.  Neandertal man was one of them walmart people; like you and me.

This is the meaning of Genesis 6

 

There were big, fierce warriors in the earth in those days; and  in conformity with that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

 

It was a time of great violence and the "sons of God" raised huge families/tribes, which became very powerful forces just like the giants. They were conforming to the world. The "sons of God's" names are listed in Genesis chapter 5.

Yes, the Hebrew used in Genesis 6 is very clear. There is no reason for the Holy Spirit to mislead us.

bath 'adam = daughters of man

bene Ha'elohim = sons of God

they had children together

 

PS: they will play a role in the Great Tribulation.  You definitely don't want to be around when that happens.

If true, it wuld make sense if they were of the line of Noah, but not Ham, Shem, or Japheth, since they would have been their relatives, hence ours, distantly. Smae root, but an offshoot branch. Again, its like they are a race of humans that no longer exist. We know they can't a some proto-human, or something not quite human that existed alongside man.
