Well to me the title was not the point but no one seemed interested in the point so.....

I think it was your point that intrigued the questions about the title.

I think the preface was interesting.  Wouldn't it be great if more books were written with that idea in mind?  Not for modernists, but for those churches who want to be totally submitted to Christ.

Pastor Scott - I would like to know the title of your book...am I right in assuming you wrote it?

Sister LuAnne,

You are correct in assuming that I wrote the book that I quoted.  Actually, to this point the Lord our God has graciously granted me the opportunity to self-publish two books.  The one from which I presented the quote is titled, God's Wisdom for Marriage & The Home.  For more information on the book, you might check out the following link:  http://www.shepherdingtheflock.com/gods-wisdom-for-marriage--the-home.html

Not the title, the subject.

And I was in no way being dishonest.

Perhaps many would love to have the controversial topic, perhaps they love it when things get heated while some will say things they normally would not while seeing the topic approaching the lock down time.

Yes it would, yet for most writers its all about selling as many books as possible & making money much money, & not about God's true Word.

I had wondered at that too.

But few seemed interested in the strong statement itself....

As I said in another post, it was the strong statement that sparked the interest in what book it came from. Myself, I read a lot and am always looking for a good book to read. This was the reason I asked about the name of the book.

I can't speak as to why others wanted to know the name of the book, but we shouldn't jump to conclusions as to why they asked. Scripture calls us to think more highly of others than ourselves. We are to love the brethren.

Truth - but it also applies to those who don't divulge information we think they should.   :flip:
