If you click twice on the picture it will eliminate any and all extraneous ImageShack superfluity. :Green ...and the pic will be even larger yet. I.E. When you click on the picture and imageshack view comes on, click on THAT pic.

Some statistics on that bridge:::::::::::::
The Millau viaduct is part of the new E11 expressway connecting Paris and Barcelona and features the highest bridge piers ever constructed. The tallest is 240 meters (787 feet) high and the overall height will be an impressive 336 meters (1102 feet), making this the highest bridge in the world.
How would you like to have had to build that bad boy. :eek

Hehehehehe, I would have thoroughly enjoyed being part of that engineering and design team. :thumb :Green :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Can you just imagine the infrastructure to put up those pillars and columns, not to mention the girders. I looooooooooooooooove cranes of all types, and sky-hooks (i.e. Sky-Cranes, originally by Sikorsky, and now Erickson).

cool!

I grew up in the mountain valleys. And the only way I could get home from city was to drive over the mountains which the elevation is about 1,700 ft, and even looking down scares me. I have driven farther down from where I live and some of the mountains are monstrous because When you are driving on a curvy road and you can look down and see the valleys, it so high up and everything down below look so little, kinda like what you see on train models. It scares me sometime because I think I might fall off and land on the bottom.. but I won't because the mountains has lot of trees (tall ones too). The first tree would just stop you from rolling off the mountain (btw, these are Appalachian mountains, mixture of Blue Ridge mountains and appalachian valleys).
