A bit off topic. Why is it that some feel that the Holy Spirit will lead one to do this, them another to do that which is the opposite?

It's a part of the humanist philosophy that says there is no truth, there is no right and wrong. This gives them the worldview that what's "right" or "true" for you may not be for them.

It's a placing of oneself upon the throne rather than acknowledging that is God's position and we are to obey Him.

Sadly too many take that postion. They say we can not know the anything. How do they know that?

Just an idea which has worked for me.

Put II Tim 3:16 up. Then either read or put other versions of the same verse up. Some will insinuate that scripture contains God's Word, but not completely. Some will say useful rather than profitable. Others will insinuate that not all scripture is from God. And so it goes.

Like I say, just an idea. But it works.
