I have been struggling with dizziness for two weeks. The first day (when it just started), things were absolutely horrid, then improved somewhat; then it kinda stayed the same, and finally got better. However, on Sunday, it got worse, and it's gotten worse again (though, praise God, not to the point of the first day). I am most likely going to the doctor tomorrow for it.

I believe it is a severe case of allergies, as I have been stuffy, head has hurt, ears have hurt some, and such, which, indeed, points to an allergic reaction. This is apparently a bad year for it, so I guess it's not surprising I got hit (my brother and father have had it some, but not to the same extent, nor for as long).

Thanks so much for your prayers. God bless all of you (reading this or not), and may He answer your prayers, as well.
God bless,

Seems allergies are extremely bad where we are this year, really knocking people around. Will pray for you.

How did the doctor visit go? If it isn't allergies, think about seeing a chiropractor. There are times I have severe dizzy problems and it is usually because my bones need to be adjusted - especially my spine. Just something to think about it, if it isn't allergies.

I just got to your post. I prayed for you Joel. Keep us informed on the Dr. visit. I'm adding you to my daily prayer list.

Thanks for the prayers, everyone. Went to the doctor, as planned. The good news is, it's apparently nothing serious; the bad news is, it looks like it'll just have to run its course. I think he did agree it was probably allergies. My eyes have been hurting all day, and tonight they've been hurting more, and tearing up, which points even more to allergies. The doctor recommended getting sudafed.

It has been a very difficult ordeal, but God is also using it for good. Very much so.
God bless,

Thanks so much, everyone. Unfortunately, I have not improved at all. If this keeps up, I'll probably have to get an MRI.

Today is the twenty-fourth day. Seems too long for just a bad case of allergies, but...I don't know. No allergy or sinus medicine, dramamine, whatever seems to help.
God bless,

Are you diabetic? What other symptoms do you have? Thirst? Tiredness? Blurred vision? Are you overweight?

There is a tendency for one symptom to dominate - in my case it was a numbness in one thigh, with the occasional feeling that that leg was giving way. I could feel dizzy after running for a tennis ball, & have to recover. 10 years on, & with a low carbohydrate diet, I am fit & well.

Sorry I didn't get back to this sooner, sir...

Diabetic: No.

Other symptoms: Headache, ears hurt. My hand has some numbness, but it appears that's totally separate. A bit stuffy. Eyes hurt.

Thirst: No more than usual, really. It has been really hot.

Tiredness: About the same as it was before this all started. Perhaps a bit more, due to discouragement.

Overweight: Not really. Out of shape (I've been knocked down from various things pretty much constantly since December 2009...Skin problems, mostly). I'd probably be in good shape now if it weren't for that. Nonetheless, I eat pretty good. Take supplements, fish oil.

Thanks for all your prayers, everyone. Still have it. Last night, it was like a "wave" went over me, and my dizziness worsened again (it had seemed a bit better).

I went to a neurologist last week (Wednesday). He said to just watch things for a month more or so, see what happens. He didn't seem to think it was anything serious, so that's good, but I'm still absolutely miserable. Things are rough.

But God is good.
