God ALWAYS provides a way for His people to do the right thing. God never tells us to do one thing and then leaves us in a position where we can't obey.

When we first looked into homeschooling everyone told us we couldn't do it. The cost was to great, we both couldn't work, etc. Even sitting down doing the financial figuring it looked impossible. Then, I determined that if God wants and expects parents to raise their children according to His Word then He would provide the means to do so. We began homeschooling even though everyone told us it couldn't work and even though our own financial calculations showed it wouldn't work. Praise God because it did and continues to work!
Praise God for his provision for your family. :clap:

What good is a "great education" if a child is lost to the devil?
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

The answer is the same with each of these: Nothing but the fires of hell.
What does the Bible call a great education?
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Colossians 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly

You've got a good point with (a), Future. I've found that, with teaching, you can't start out as their friend and try and keep the relationship good. You've got to lay down the law good and hard and then when you gain their respect as the authority, you can be their friend, so to speak. Since I'm new to teaching, it's tougher cause now I've got to go from being nice to mean so that I can be nice again. :lol

I know what you mean. I just finished student teaching, and I had that problem. I was too nice at the start and paid or it the rest of the year.
