I am looking for a good Bible College that I can attend online. I am looking for a Doctorate in Divinity. I am a stay-at-home soon to be wife and as such I have enough for my needs but no money for much else. My spirit desires the Word of God and learning with fervor more about Him. I know studying Theology is very in depth and I am not looking to become a pastor but I am looking for the knowledge as I crave the study and fellowship with God.

Let me start out by saying that I love sports, but rarely watch them anymore but still follow scores on my phone. With the Superbowl coming up next week, I see a lot of churches in this area hosting Superbowl services. They will watch the Superbowl, and have a service at halftime. Have we become so culture orientated that our services are more about culture now than they are about worshiping Jesus?

Many of you know that we started a church 2 years ago. I think I can write a book on these first two years. We've gone through a lot as a church including a split that left us down to 10 people......but when you put your trust in God and stay faithful He will bless. Things are really busy so my Online Baptist time is not what I would like for it to be. God has been blessing us as a church and we seen a lot of growth that we have not experience as a church before. If I have time I'll post sometime what God has done. My wife is a wonderful, lovely, gorgeous, but slightly silly lady. I say slightly silly for the simple reason that you would have to be at the very least slightly silly to put up with me for 29 years, and yet as of tomorrow, it will be 29 years ago that we were married. I love her more now than I did then, and at that time, I didn't think it was possible to love a person more than I loved her. So I am bragging about how wonderful she is, and how amazing she is that she could put up with me for so long.

It's been a few years, but this was an annual topic that I thought I would throw out there. I am amazed at how many "Christian" parents lie to their children. This Christmas, my wife and I saw post after post from friends about what their children got from Santa. I am so proud of my 8 year old daughter who stood up to her friends who were trying to convince her that Santa was real. Parents - You are lying to your children about Santa, Easter Bunny and tooth fairies. No other way to say it.

I wanted to ask the folks here if they believe that the Shroud of Turin is in fact the genuine burial cloth of Jesus. Carbon dating dates the shroud to around 1,200 to 1,400 AD; however, we know that Carbon dating has its flaws. Is this truly the face of God in the flesh, or is it a hoax? Just thought I would ask in the general sense - I know the standard IBF run down on the issue, and I don't particularly want a whole big argument going on, but maybe people could give their understanding of who has the authority to start a new church. My Beloved Child Comfortless? Abandoned? No, I would never leave you that way. You’re My child, and I love you. I’m watching over you each day. Forsaken? Defenseless? Impossible - that could never be. I’m with you every moment; oh, My dear child, can’t you see? I will never leave you, nor forsake you - you have that promise from My heart. You are walking close beside me, from you I will never, ever depart. To Be With Christ Is Far Better To be absent from my earthly body Is to be present forever with the Lord. Here with you or at home in Heaven - This dilemma seems a two-edged sword. I want to be here with my loved ones, I want no sorrow to come their way - But to be present with my Saviour Is a desire that means more than I can say. I’ve walked with Jesus for so many years, Is it time now to leave this mortal domain? Torn between two desires - which is better - To depart for Heavenly shores or to remain? The hope of a new body, oh to be glorified, No more trials - gone forever - is it time? There’s so many wonders to look forward to - But, I will long for those I will leave behind. Open Doors In every person’s life, we find so many doors opened or closed; The True Light shines out amongst us, which the darkness has always opposed. Jesus is the only Saviour - He is the Way to Heaven’s shore. For all the lost and scattered sheep, Jesus says, “Behold, I Am the Door.” All we like sheep have gone astray, but the price has been fully paid; On the cross of Calvary, all our iniquities on Him were laid. Open doors and open windows, filled with many blessings from above. “See how I will pour you out a blessing so there will always be enough.
