McMahon, T.A. November 1, 2002 The above title became a source of controversy when I used it for a talk given at a recent prophecy conference. What I found curious about the commotion was that it came from Catholics (and some evangelicals) who had yet to hear my presentation. Furthermore, the title reflects the hope and prayers of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. Rome has been tilling this "common ground" with Islam for decades, as evidenced by the 1994 Vatican publication, Recognize the Spiritual Bonds Which Unite Us: 16 Years of Christian-Muslim Dialogue. Why, therefore, would anyone be upset by my simply repeating what the Roman Catholic Church ve…

Roman Sacraments Appointed By Men

When you butt heads with God you will lose. Below you find the beginning of the Roman Church's lengthy defense of their obvious fallacy. They make every attempt to put this discussion beyond the ability of an average member of their religion to understand. Have any of you ever gone to the Roman web site and attempted to read their justification for their faith. Take your online dictionary with you. It becomes obvious they rely on authority attributed to their own church "fathers." Roman Church Sacraments Almighty God can and does give grace to men in answer to their internal aspirations and prayers without the use of any external sign or ceremony. This will always be …

The Eucharist (as practiced by the Roman Church) March 29, 2010 This morning, during prayer, I was halted to consider a catechism. It may have had much to do with a recent celebration of the Lord’s Supper at my local church. We know the doctrine our Baptist churches teach concerning this ordinance instituted by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Most of us are familiar with Matthew 26, Mark 14, Luke 22, teaching about the ordinance and both its symbolic and spiritual significance Also, John 6 teaching symbolic and spiritual significance of receiving Christ as Lord. We also know how the Roman Church takes this scripture, particularly John and perverts it to a man instituted m…

There is a man here in the Philippines that claims to be the appointed Son of God. He says that we are not living in the church age anymore but living in the kingdom. It is sad!! he has his own network and followers all over the world.

This is a perfect example of the generational curse Constantine forced on us! when he decided to merged Roman paganism with Christianity. He allowed the pagans to keep their festivals.

Most of todays false doctrine originates from Constantine! The man merged Roman paganism with Christianity! When God says He hates the Nicolaitans he speaks of the conquering Church.

There are 38,000 trinity denominations that claim to go by the bible alone the only ones that don't (church of Christ, catholic, Coptic, orthodox) and a number of non triune churches (lds, moonies, jw's). So if everyone goes by the bible suddenly with no historical proof the baptist tradition is right sounds similar to lds to me next thing you'll ask me to feel the warm feeling in my heart like an lds missionary

Ten Commandments 1 2 3

Do these look a little strange to you? 1. I am the Lord thy God; thou shalt not have strange gods before me. 2. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. 3. Remember thou keep holy the Lord‘s Day. 4. Honor thy father and thy mother. 5. Thou shall not kill. 6. Thou shalt not commit adultery. 7. Thou shalt not steal. 8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. 9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife. 10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods. Someone had told me the Catholic church had a different ten commandments. I went and looked it up, and this is what I found. It was at this website: http://www.roman-catholic-catech…

First, let me say that the man in this video is teaching false doctrine. This guy seems to be saying that Charles Stanley wrote, in his book "Eternal Security" that Hell is not eternal. I've never read any of Stanley's books and I don't watch him on TV so, can someone tell me if this is true? Does Stanley teach false doctrine/s?

How much U.S. press did this get? I don’t recall if there was any U.S. press coverage of this. Was it something the press didn’t believe was important to Americans? Or, was I just too busy to take notice? I have a few quotes of Faisal Shahzad, Pakistan-born, 2009 naturalized U.S. citizen. This is the “domestic” terrorist given life in prison for attempting to detonate an explosives packed Nissan Pathfinder at a busy N.Y. City, Times Square, intersection. At least 20 U.S. citizens have been charged with major terrorism violations in federal court this year, according to Justice Department statistics. The quotes: "If I'm given 1,000 lives I will sacrifice them all f…

The RCC would like for you to believe that they were founded by Jesus shortly before His passion, but the TRUTH is otherwise. Thus, they had to invent a retro-history of their org, including making some men into Popes, an office that didn't exist in their lifetimes! The RCC didn't exist until the 300s AD when the Roman Caesar Constantine partially embraced Christianity. Knowing that many of his subjects would readily adapt true Christianity, he allowed pagan practices, ceremonies, & traditions to be "worked into" the body of Christian worship. The most well-known of these was Easter, which Connie's 'missionaries' invented by adding the story of Christ's resurrection…

I have posted this sermon: Balaam ministries So many Christians watch the God TV & radio & other "Christian" channels. So much is dangerous & false, yet they do not see the they are imbibing poison. Jude, Peter & Jesus (in Revelation) warned against Balaam ministries infiltrating the church, hence this sermon, to warn my folk. Poison disguised as food is far more deadly than raw & evil tasting poison. These purport to be Bible expositions, but are devilish deceit intended to rob the faithful & divert freewill offerings to themselves.

Most of us have heard of "transubstantiation" however, I don't ever recall hearing about "consubstantiation." Until just the other day I had never heard of the "con" and looking up the definition didn't really help much... http://www.gotquesti...tantiation.html "Consubstantiation essentially teaches that Jesus is "with, in, and under" the bread and wine, but is not literally the bread and wine." "Consubstantiation is held by some Eastern Orthodox churches, and some other liturgical Christian denominations (Episcopal and Lutheran as examples). Even among these groups, consubstantiation is not universally accepted."

I noticed no thread on Jehova false witnesses, so I thought I'd give the basics First of all, if they knock on your door, and you wanna engage them, don't let them in your house, the bible warns against this. Go grab your bible and step outside, I don't care if it's cold out. Most JWs carry the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. It's a highly edited perverstion. In it, Jesus is visited by astrologers. Not wise men, not astronomers, but pagan future tellers. Joseph wasn't debating if he should turn Mary in to be stoned or not, he was just debating if he should marry her right away or later. Tons of stuff like that. Anyway, with their own book, the rom…

Pedophiles aslso fall under reprobate minds. Molestation of children is one of the worst things I can think of. http://www.neusysinc.com/columnarchive/colm0194.html To Pedophile-Tolerating Psychiatrists: Make Our Day Copyright 2003 by David W. Neuendorf "Most people that I know view pedophilia as the ultimate in evil perversion. That's why it is so surprising that there is a growing faction among psychiatrists advocating that we at least tolerate the practice of adult/child sexual relations."

Deuteronomy 18:18-22 18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. 20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if…

Could someone please clarify your beliefs? I notice that you list several "false" religions. I am not disputing that most of the religions you list are in fact false; clearly I and the Bible refutes your idea of the church of Christ being a false religion. But, to the point, do you believe that the IFB is the only true church? If not, what are some other true churches/religions? I thank all who provide information on this.
