Chick Tracts did a "comic" series on his story and I recently read them and they are amazing!!!! He was a Jesuit priest and was saved out of it! All of the things he tells about Catholocism are just ... wow!

Don't believe everything you read. Some of what's been put forth there has been proven false and much of the rest is suspect. Someone here, it might have been LuAnne, has posted more about this.

They do make some good reading but when I checked the facts they didn't all check out.

Has anyone heard him preach. I have. Some of his sermons are on Youtube. If it is him he sounds pretty sincere. Maybe a little charismatic though.

I known people to get saved from reading them. Kids especially like them. Just because he KJVO (which is right), steel, you shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

That's why I said 'SOME'.

"This is your Life" is the BEST English-language salvation tract ever, IMO. But some of his stuff on other subjects...well...are 'comix'.

I have the "comic" and a followup Chick book name "Is Alberto for Real." It address the "he's a nut" or "he's nOT for real" with reproductions of memo's, letters, etc that supposedly substantiate his claims. A reading of it seems to authenticate what he says, but I have nOT researched it in detail myself to give a "Yea" or "Nay."
