Thunder, more thunder, & even rolling thunder for the past hour or so, dark skies cover us completely, even rainy looking skies, & we have had even a very few drops of water fall to the ground, & the electricity when off as I 1st started to post this, yet no real rain. Hopeful & prayerfully hoping for rain soon, but God will give it when He sees fit.

We had some cloud cover, our electricity flickered a few times but never went out. No rain but at least it's somewhat cooler.

Sad, many try to walk on top of the fence, hoping to have the best the world offers, along with the best God offers in that day, never really surrendering their will to Jesus. And it seems that with theses people no matter what you say, they refuse to give up the offerings of the world giving their self to Jesus.

That's so true Jerry. Too many people want to believe they are a "good Christian" while playing with the things of the world, while watering down the things of God so as not to risk offending someone, changing the meaning of the Word so they can enjoy unbiblical rituals and events.

Scripture tells us the path to destruction is wide, with many who follow it while the path to heaven is narrrow and few are willing to walk that path.

Scripture also warns us that many will call out to Jesus proclaiming how good a Christian they had been but Jesus will tell them He never knew them and cast them to hell with the rest of the lost.

These should cause us to do as Scripture commands and examine ourselves to make sure we are truly saved and truly following Christ as we are told in the Bible.
