My wife went to our seniors lunch today and brought me back a shepherds pie which I had for supper.

We had a members business meeting this evening and I did not feel up to going out, so my wife went and I had some poached smoked haddock.  My wife as a vegetarian cannot stand the smell of fish and particularly smoked fish.  So I did it while she was out and put the extractor fan on full to take the smell away. It seemed to have worked as she said there was only a faint smell .

Polska kilbasa, sauteed cabbage with bacon and a touch of vinegar and sugar, fried potatoes and onion, with grated carrot and raisin salad.   Mmmmmmm . . . . I'm full.
