Thank you for posting this Will! Very good and very much appreciated! :thumb

I look forward to the next installment.

Thank you too. Glad to hear it is appreciated. It will take me quite awhile to wade through it because I don't have much time, but it is clear that his position leaves him and those that believe him with no infallible Bible and not really being sure where one might be found either.

The Usual List of Suspects

The next major area of criticism repeated by James Price are ones we have all heard many times before in our Bible clubs. Anyone who has read the books that criticize the King James Bible (and uphold none as the pure words of God) are very familiar with these examples of what the Bible critics call

Excellent! It's very good and helpful to have such information that deals directly with this particular book and even touches upon others as well.

Thank you!!!

Hi brother. Thank you for your interest. I am having fun doing this analysis of Mr. Price's book and seeing more and more the beauty and perfection of our providentially given King James Bible. What a wonderful God we have!

All of grace,

Will, Thank you for your excellent refutation of the book in question! :thumb

Thank you brother John. May God in His mercy open more eyes to see where His true words are found today - the Authorized King James Holy Bible.

The Biblical Text Preserved

Beginning with chapter 7 of his book, King James Onlyism: A New Sect, Mr. Price almost sounds like a Bible believer. He starts off with some great quotes and even uses the King James Bible to support his hypothetical position.

He begins by saying:

It must be concluded that the current editions of the King James Version are doctrinally reliable, but are not flawless in their minute details. Therefore it would be wrong to dogmatically insist, apart from THE AUTHORITY OF THE HEBREW AND GREEK TEXTS, that the King James Version is the verbally inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, when it is known that the various current editions have verbal differences with variations of meaning....

Wow, the inconsistency of the MV-defenders! On one hand, they try to tell us ALL Bibles are the same and no meaning has been changed (so basically, any Bible will do) - then they come along and knock the King James Bible and try to show how horrible it is (and in this case, it is simply a matter of minor spelling changes)! Wait, I thought all Bibles were the same and it didn't matter?... Oh, except when it comes to the KJV! (Yes, all OTHER Bibles are different than the KJV.)

Thanks, Will, for these good critiques and the links to prior articles.
