No, we shouldn't calm down. We should become more outgoing, and more outreaching with the true gospel of Christ. This world will not be perfect this side of glory, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. If we try to reach the people making these perversions of God's Word, then maybe more souls can be won. And more souls can be properly discipled.

There are many out there who either create false doctrines or embrace them because they go along with their wicked, worldly viewpoints which are of more concern to them than actually seeking out the One True Saviour.

There are those who preach emphatically that Jesus was a woman or that He was black, or that He was just a good teacher, or just a prophet, or any number of things MINUS that He was/is the Son of God. They preach a Jesus that didn't die on the cross and therefore never rose from the dead. They teach a Jesus that appeared to American Indians. Some teach the Christ has not yet come while some teach they ARE the Christ! Etc., etc.

Unless a person truly seeks God and believes what God has revealed to us, they will find themselves yet lost and believing one lie or another.

I totally agree with you. Man has sought to pervert the Bible throughout the ages because man himself is perverse by nature. After all, we were born in sin.

I personally just find it sickening that man wishes to twist and pervert the Bible in so many ways. Why can't man just rely on the KJV Bible and let it be? I know the answer to that. I am just blabbering.
