Members rancher824 Posted November 11, 2007 Members Posted November 11, 2007 I would like to ask everyone to pray for my dad. Last saturday he was unloading some 2X4's off the racks of a pickup. He somehow stepped wrong and fell on his back. Ever since he has been haveing chest pains. He has had bad experiances with doctors in the past, and has no faith in them. So he will not go to be checked out. I am very wearied that he may have a heart atack or something. He is my dad first and I love him. He is also my pastor. We have a very small church, and the loss of him would probably close the doors. He is also my coworker through the week. In other words, what happens to him affects my whole life. Please pray that he will either get better, or God will lead him to see a doctor. And also pray for my family if God decides to take him home. Not only for me and my wife, but very muchly so for my mom. She depends on him so much, since she had a stroke 3 1/2 years ago. We set her down tonight to let her know how serious things could be. She said if he goes home, she hopped to be close behind. I know God is in control. I know from mom's stroke that prayers are worth more than a person can imagine. She was supposed to have died, but thanks to God she is still with us. I am sorry if I went into to much detail, or rambled too much. My heart is very heavy right now with worries. Thanks for the prayers. Rancher Quote
