Members Invicta
My dear wife was taken to hospital last Tuesday she had been in sever pain for a while. After an X-ray she' was taken to hospital with multiple fractures to her back, fluid on the lungs, and a massive haitus hernia.(We already knew that, but didn't realise it was so sevede. They said that only 10% of her stomach is in the correct place.) When she went in I was told to say goodbye to her and pray with her. Yesterday the drained he lungs and took, a chest X-ray. Still waiting for results on X-ray and tests on ghe lung fluid, possibly heart, or could be something else.. Members Invicta
Thank you.my wife has been very weak, but today seems much stronger. She is off oxygen. On Sunday she had twe very bad nosebleeds, they think may fave been caused by the oxygen. The nutritionist saw her today as she has lost a lot of weight. The wanted to weigh her today, but decided that the orthopaedics should see her first, to see if any damage to her spine if she stood. Thank all for your prayers. I was with her but the rest of the family left about 10 minutes before. She was very weak on Saturday, but seemed a lot stronger on Sunday, holding my hand firmly, which she hadn't done before. Her voice was stronger as well. Some of my grandchildren were with me and we had a bible reading and sang some hymns, my wife joining in. Then we all prayed before leaving. Then yesterday she was very weak not eating or drinking. HappyChristian and Rebecca
Members Invicta
This was what i orinially posted but it disappeared when I lost my Internet connection. It has just suddenly reappeared from somewhere. Just to update everyone. My dear wife Kay went to be with the Lord yesterday. She had a new pneumonia. The first was fluid in the lining of her lungs. They drained that but then she got fluid inside the lungs. She was pretty poorly on Saturday, but seemed to revive on Sunday. She was gripping my hand which she wasn't before. Friends took me to the hospital straight from church on Sunday morning and I was with her till about 7.00. My eldest grandson and his wife visited after their lunch. They left when 2 of my granddaughters arrived with the husband of one of them. The eldest of the two, who is the family language expert, brought in my wife's French bible and read Psalm 103. We then sang God Holds The Key Of All Unknown, What A Friend We Have I Jesus, Psalm 23 (to Crimmond) my wife joining in, then we all prayed and said we loved her. Then yesterday her voice was very week and when I held her hand it was limp. I gave her a drink of apple juice they she just went. My daughter and some of the grandchildren had left about 15 minutes before. My wife had a brain haemorrhage almost exactly 29 years ago and she wasn't expected to survive then, so we had all those extra years. Thank you Lord. Thank you for all your prayers. The following is from the Facebook page of our. former foster son. Yesterday my mum went to glory to be with her Lord she wasn't my biological mum she was the mum given to me by the grace of God who took a broken teenage boy and with the help of God taught him to read to love and to trust God gave me a family I will miss my mum I take comfort that she's with the Lord and I will see her again my heart and my love and my prayers are now with my Dad and my sister's and the rest of the family God bless you mum and until we meet again in glory with the Lord I love you Edited October 29 by Invicta

Administrators HappyChristian Posted October 30 Administrators Share Posted October 30 Oh, @Invicta! I am so sorry for your loss. I am so very thankful for the promise of Heaven and that you can know that she is, as BrotherTony said, completely healed. Praise the Lord for the extra 29 years He gave you both! What a testimony she leaves behind! Continuing to pray for you, friend.
Members Napsterdad
I too am sorry for your loss but know you can take comfort in knowing that she is in a far better place, and that you will one day be reunited. I was once a foster child, and the testimony of your former foster son really struck home. It takes special people to be good foster parents. The challenges are many and the system, and very often the child, don't make it any easier. To see such a glowing testimony speaks volumes about your wife. I am sure she is resting in the loving peace of our Savior's arms. HappyChristian
