How can a person preach the gospel effectively, to a lost person and not share the gospel book, to see the verses in the Bible visually? Regarding salvation, a lost soul never opens the scriptures for them to see what the Bible says. Everything is done only verbally. Is this good practice?

People don't have to see the scriptures to become convicted and convinced of their need for a savior. Hearing the Word is sufficient. I know many who had never cracked open a Bible, but heard the gospel message and came to Christ.

Off topic here but I occasionally have dreams where I want to show someone something from the bible and I can't find it flipping through pages of garbled words.

1Co 2:4-5
(4)  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
(5)  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Heb 4:12
(12)  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Interesting, and not off topic.

When Christ came into my heart, it was shared with me verbally , and shown from the Scriptures. I believe there might be a difference.

What do you mean by "might be a difference?" Please explain.

I reconnected with one of my high school friends several years ago and like everyone else I wanted to know what believed about God.

He was born in a Catholic family, wore a rosary as a necklace sometimes, but knew almost nothing about the church's beliefs.

After many discussions he invited me over and agreed to go through a tract I brought with me. I wanted him to read it out loud so maybe he would better understand what he was reading. What I realized very quickly was that he could barely read even on a basic level. So I ended up reading all the content and verses to him myself and by the end I had absolutely no idea if he understood a single thing we talked about.

He came to church that next Sunday but that was the last time he showed or talked about religion again

Some will hear and believe, but, sadly, most will reject the salvation offered through Jesus Christ.

I believe he understood, and a seed was planted. We don't see all the harvest, for now.
