Members SureWord
Again, my mother is thrice vaccinated (she got a third booster I didn't know of) and she is presently in the hospital on Remdesivir and a powerful steroid. If my sister who lives in Louisiana didn't call the building she lives in for a welfare check she'd be dead now. So the vax doesn't guarantee anything. This Fauci made virus is endemic and we'll just have to learn to live with it because it's not going away. After going through this I'm not telling anyone not to get the vax but I'm also 100% against mandates. Also, if you want to wear a mask 24-7 then go ahead. Believe you me, this has probably been the most miserable experience I've known in years worse than the Russian flu or any bouts with pneumonia/asthma I've had. I will give a word of advice if you get it get help as soon as possible DO NOT wait because it will not get better. It comes in waves each successive wave is worse than the previous. Don't think you can toughen through it with Vitamin C and chicken soup. If you are still sick after 10 days you may be beyond the point of no return. I say get help early because hospitals and doctors have been dragging their feet in caring for sick patients. Apparently, they haven't taken a "vaccinate or die" position. The way the doctor in the ER treated me was terrible...he didn't "treat" me at all. Because my blood pressure was low when I went into the ER because I couldn't breathe after contracting covid for the second time, after being asked if I had been vaccinated or not, he sidestepped treatment, opting for the "wait and see" approach to see if my BP would come back up to normal. After five hours in the ER, it evetually did. The only things I had were an x-ray to make sure I had no blood clots in my lungs, and a nurse checking in on me to make sure I was breathing somewhat normally. At the end of the five hours I was released. As soon as he realized that I wasn't vaccinated, it was like he didn't want anything to doo with me. The man in the neighboring room who had been vaccinated was being treated with oxygen, bp meds, etc. When I reported the positive Covid test results to my PCP on Monday (I got my results Saturday, was in the ER Sunday, and called my doctor Monday) he said if I had Covid he couldn't see me, that the practice was referring Covid patients to the Urgent Care facilities. He's no longer my doctor. My wife's doctor is in the same practice, and she told my wife she couldn't treat her either. So, we're both looking for a family doctor now. My ENT specialist was not helpful when he found out I was unvaccinated, and was hostile to me being in the office. I let him know I would be looking for another ENT, and he changed his tune. I'm tired of doctors swallowing the kool-aid and acting like anyone who questions the viability of the shots as a conspiracy theorist and anti-vaccines. I'm not...but I won't be trusting doctors, the medical estblishments of this country or our government again anytime soon.

My brother went in there to crack some skulls. They got the three biggest security guys after him. Was it "Christian" of him? Maybe not but all I can say is they treated her and she recovered and will probably be going home on Monday.

Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 4, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 4, 2021 @SureWord, I'm so glad your mom recovered! ~~~~~ Just to let folks know: tonic water and zinc together (take a zinc with about 4 oz of tonic water, which has a little bit of quinine in it) helps fight ANY respiratory virus (including cvid). Add to that Vit. D3, which is great for respiratory, Vit. C, and elderberry syrup, which is great for the immune system. BTW, they do make a sugar free Gatorade as well as Powerade. My hubs and I both prefer Powerade as it's a stronger flavor (my fave is the grape). ~~~~~ I lost an aunt and an uncle to cvid...because there's no money in treating the issue properly. I have a number of cousins who are now fighting cvid - and thankfully winning the battle. They are all saved, so eternity is secure whether they die of cvid, cancer, pneumonia, car wreck, etc. People need to get a grip and realize that death existed before cvid and will continue to happen after they hit the Omega "variant," which will not likely happen until there is no freedom left anywhere. "Even so, come Lord Jesus."

I'm praying now. I may be headed that way myself. My wife thinks I have pneumonia. I haven't stopped coughing for the last three days. I've used my inhalers and used other home remedies, but nothing has worked so far. I went to be at 8:45 PM this evening...and as you can tell, it's only 9:30 PM and I'm up again. I couldn't breathe and had to get up. I've only been out of my house 3x in the last several months because of the after effects of covid...I can tell you that if the Lord wants to take me home, I'm ready. At least I'd be able to breathe! Here in Northwest Indian it is bad also my church's prayer list is loaded with the saints with corvid. My Brother I go street preaching with is in quarantine. Therefore I have not been cruised out all week or told God bless you. I will pray you get better. I have had the shots, so it up in the air. To quote Job as far as doctors. Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 6, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 6, 2021 One thing to remember - if you lie down, lie on your stomach. It seems counterproductive, but it actually helps you breathe better when you have a respiratory issue. I know of people who were about to be vented but tried proning (lying on the stomach) and in just a couple days went home better. Also, don't recline in a recliner. If sitting, keep the back straight. I talked to my doctor about why this kind of thing helped, and he explained about muscles and stuff - I told him I thought it had to do with gravity (pulling the lungs down when prone rather than the lungs pushing down). He said basically that was it. I hope you both get better soon. Bro. West, where in NWI are you? We lived in Chesterton for 26 years. Members SureWord
Well, I'm back home and I'm on oxygen 24/7. My lungs are full of pneumonia but they think the worst might be past let's hope to God because this may have been the most miserable experience ever and I've had all kinds of sickness growing up to the point I spent time in the Philadelphia Children's Hospital. Russian flu, bouts with pneumonia with asthma, flus during middle of summer with no air-conditioning in the house, broken bones, etc. What has made this worse is it comes in waves when you think you are feeling better you get hit harder. I want to thank everyone who has prayed for me. God bless you. HappyChristian and BrotherTony
