Why, I'm sure she'd thank you! :P

Did you meet my Gram at the wedding?? If I have a daughter I'll name her after my Gram's mama. I want my little girl to be just like my Grandma. That may sound funny, but she's one of the most godly and wonderful women I know.

I don't think that's funny at all! I think that is a wonderful tribute to your grandma. Too many people nowadays don't honor their grandparents, or any older people for that matter. If I had had a girl, she would have been named Miriam after my grandma! My grandma is a special lady, too.

I'm pretty sure I did. I'm not sure that I can remember what she looked like now, though. :frog
But that's a great idea to give your daughter her name, it'll carry on her legacy, in a sense. :thumb

If I have a son I would like to name him for my great uncle Mancil. He worked hard his entire life as a farmer and was always telling people about the Lord. My grandmother refuses to allow me to name my child after her(she doesn't like her name...too popular), or I would...I want to respect her wishes though. She was elated when I told her I would like to name a boy for her brother Mancil, they were very close. Anyway, my point, I think it would be great if you named the new Adra after your grandma! :thumb

I meant to say my Grandma's mama....

My Grandma always wishes she'd named one of her daughters after her mama, and so I told her i'd name one of mine after her mama.

Besides, it's a lovely name that goes well with Adra.

How rude of her! Well, if it's one thing I've learned from being pregnant, you've gotta overlook some people. You've got the people who think they know everything about everything about having a baby and they'll tell you what they think whether you wnat to hear it or not. Just ignore people like that...

I agree-you have to ignore people who constantly want to talk negatively about children and pregnancy. I'm on my ninth month and so many people have told me so many negative things (and they continue to)that never have happened to me in my pregnancy. Jonathan and I have both been frustrated by how many people talk so badly about having children and what a burden they are and how your life will never be the same. We choose to view it as our life will never be the same, but in a good way and yes there may be things that we can't always do, but they'll be new things we can do with our little son. I can't wait to meet him!! I'm sure that you will do fine when you have a child-KJVKayBeliever and Joyfulpraise. :)

We found out on Friday that we're having a boy!!

As soon as our computer stops being crazy we'll post the new ultrasound pics.

So, Lord willing, January/February will bring little Benjamin Adra!

I love the name Benjamin. :smile Congratulations, Samer and Rachel. Boys are so wonderful. :thumb

Thank you. :)

Benjamin is definite, but we're not sure about the middle name. We've been beating a few around..we shall see.

I know that there is an interesting story about the Tribe of Benjamin...but, I can't think of it off hand. I am sure that you guys know...and, it is very "interesting". :smile

Congratulations, Heather...and, may God bless all three of you, abundantly.

Yes...Amen. Ladies, don't worry about these people. :smile Sometimes they get very excited...and, they don't know how to keep their mouths shut when they should. LOL.

BTW, most people share in the excitement of a new baby being brought into God's creation. What a blessing and testimony to the great love of Our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
