Prayer for moderator and wife.

I am asking for prayer for one of our moderators and his wife. The moderator is Ukulelemike, his wife's name is Delia. Mike wrote to tell me that his wife woke in the night some time ago with severe stomach pain. He rushed her to the hospital and they found that she had a perforated colon resulting in a massive spill of bowel contents into her abdomen.

At first they couldn't even find her blood pressure, once they did find it, it was only 50/20 her heart rate was 165. He said she almost died. She has been in intensive care for a full five weeks. She is healing now and it is looking a lot better for her. They have no insurance so this is going to be hard on them.

I asked him if I could post this on the forum and he said yes, the more the better. So now we have something to pray for, for one of our own.

Is there a 'Go Fund Me,"  site, or an address, that we can send funds to help relieve the situation?

I don't know of one Alan, he didn't say. He did mention that they may have to declare bankruptcy, I have no idea how to set up a site like that, but it might be of help.

I will try to do that Alan. I don't know how much info will be forthcoming. I am also leaving on an extended trip starting November 1st. I will be gone for a month, but will have Internet access along the way, so hopefully I can keep up.

there are times when the hospital will not charge them, ask them to contact the hospital social worker
