Sad Tragedy

Yesterday I got news that Becky, a young lady I knew from my Grandma's church, had lost her husband early Sunday morning. The church picnic was on Saturday. Her husband, Mike, played lots of volleyball and seemed just fine. Early Sunday morning Becky woke up to hear him breathing very shallowly. She dialed 911 and they told her to give him CPR. She had to get her 10 year old daughter to help her get him out of bed and onto the floor for CPR. Mike passed away before the ambulance arrived. They were barely in their 30s and have 4 children. Their youngest is an infant and the second youngest isn't even old enough to walk.

Please pray for Becky and her children. Mike was the song leader at their church so the church is grieving as well.

It's just such a reminder to hold our loved ones close and cherish the moments.

They have no idea as of yet. They're doing an autopsy to see if he had some kind of heart condition they were unaware of.

No, it's in Western MD on the border of PA. The family lived in PA though.

I know that church as well. No, it wasn't there. The church is in Thurmont.
