I must have missed the talking cat story??? I have cats which have different sounding "meows" for different things... one "meow" for "I want food" is different than the "I want attention" meow. Would that be a talking cat? I also have one cat in particular which is aloof UNTIL I am studying the bible and/or praying... that cat can be completely self-absorbed or sound asleep in another room but SOMEHOW knows when I am praying or studying in depth. Don't laugh... lol.

Ronda,

I will not laugh ( snicker, snicker) !!!!

The 'cat' is a trademark of Russ Pittman, genevanpreacher, and his teaching ministry at his blogsite,http://genevanbaptists.blogspot.tw/search?updated-max=2014-10-22T16:17:00-07:00&max-results=7 'genevanpreacher,' to my understanding  (please correct me if I am mistaken), is an, 'Internet Theologian.'

On his blogsite, as you rummage through it, you will notice a continual belittling of the King James Bible. In my eyes, it is hypocritical to use the King James Version in order to convince an audience (OnLine Baptist for example), of your beliefs and then slander it when you talk to others.

On his blogsite you will notice poems by, 'James Whitcomb Riley.' Mr. Riley is the, 'Hoosier Poet,,' of Indiana. Mr. Riley, 1849-1916, was an alcoholic, a 'huckster' selling 'patent medicines'  and was mired in scandals all of his adult life. Here is a Wikipedia article on Mr. Riley: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Whitcomb_Riley

Currently, 'genevanpreacher' is on the 'Reformed Theology Instiute,' forum. Here is the link to the 'Reformed Theology Instutute,' forum: http://rti.myfineforum.org/archive/i-am-genevanpreacher.__o_t__t_2679.html While the brethren are checking out the main page of the 'Reformed theology Institute,' forum, you may want to read, under, "Leaders Past and Present."

By the way, I love cats.

Alan

Reminds me Rich Norris. He's an internet theologian out of the now defunct Tennessee Temple whose whole ministry is correcting the KJV. And I mean every jot and tittle. He claims the Geneva Bible is the best version of the bible yet this is because he knows the NIV, NASV, ASV and the other 250 English versions are all corrupt so he goes with a version nobody reads. Really, the man doesn't believe any of them.
