Members John81
Jerry, my dear friend, it's spelled instance, (as in for instance). Not instants. Not sure how that spelling would everĀ be correct but the word instant means, now or immediate. Should we try foniks?
Members Miss Daisy
Spelling correctly is just a quirky habit I have. I've seen him misspell that word so many times it drove me crazy!

I know, which is why I was funning with you. Years ago I saw a comedic sketch where a guy spelled several things in accordance with phonics and it was funny and has stuck with me. Ā One word I've had trouble with over the years, especially when typing, is the word judgment. In fact, as I was typing the word that "e" just automatically went right in there between the "g" and "m" so I had to backspace it out! Ironically, as I've helped my pastor edit and reformat some of his sermons I've found he has the same problem.
Moderators Salyan Posted December 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted December 1, 2013 Well, judgement can be correct. It just depends whether you're using American or British spelling. Bonus for us Canadians - we can pick whichever one we prefer. :frog
