As we are told in First Corinthians 13, even if we are doing something right, if we are not doing so with love, it's for nought.

 

If we can't carry on a conversation in kindness, our words seasoned with salt and grace, then there are other matters that need tending to which should come before we speak.

For those of you who are condeming LauraJones for listening to CCM?  Have you got a chance to talk with her?  You take one aspect of her life, and automatically think she is doing Satan's bidding.  Maybe, she would be more open to talk with you had you not been criticizing one aspect of her life.  I find this very ungodly of those who did this.

Good grief, LuAnne.  You sound like an overbearing mother chastising her child.  Had you taken this to me privately, I would be more apt to listen to you.  This is the second time that you have berated me openly.  Not good.

I don't believe most did any condemning, all I did, & many others, was trying to point to why I do not listen to CCM in that other topic.

 

Yet some can't stand any disagreement & will call disagreement condemning.

I have been past done with this thread, but it keeps going.  I wasn't the one to resurrect it, either.    I will send you a private message about the Hollywood movies, tomorrow.  I have been dealing with this for 13 years, LOL.

While I'm glad all the scary, horror and slasher movies that played all through October are over, why did the Hallmark Channel go to playing Christmas movies so early and playing so many of them?

 

I've also noticed Christmas commercials and not only have we not had Thanksgiving Day yet, it's not even the middle of November yet and they are starting up with the Christmas commercials.

 

In a few stores they began putting out a few Christmas items before Halloween had passed.

I've also noticed Christmas commercials and not only have we not had Thanksgiving Day yet, it's not even the middle of November yet and they are starting up with the Christmas commercials.

 

In a few stores they began putting out a few Christmas items before Halloween had passed.

 

We had Christmas goods and Halloween side by side as well as fireworks for bonfire day, Nov 5th.   I am sure that if you looked close enough you could also find hot cross buns, they seem to be available for most of the year.

They seem to put out Christmas stuff, & play Christmas song earlier with each new year. At Walmart today they were playing Christmas songs.
