Members ThePilgrim
Supposedly (so far) this is only in China and only in the cheaper places. Supposedly! But one has to wonder how much of this stuff is used in factory made stuff that is shipped around the world. Bon Apetite. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/worldviews/wp/2013/10/28/you-may-never-eat-street-food-in-china-again-after-watching-this-video/ God bless, Larry

Members John81
Our food is allowed, by federal standards, to have a certain number of bug parts and rodent hairs. In some of our foods, folks don't know what's actually in it anyway, such as what's actually in hot dogs, sausage and such. I knew some people how used to work in a name brand meat company and they wouldn't eat any of their own products. They used to talk about all the rats and bugs, and laugh about how sometimes a rat would climb up and walk around one of the mixing vats so the workers would take their big stirring "spoons" and knock the rats right into the mixing vat. Several years ago there was a news report of stray cats and dogs going missing in an area of Chicago. For at least two years people were saying they were being gathered up and used in the local Chinese restaurant. Finally Chicago officials investigated and sure enough, the Chinese who owned and ran the business were gathering stray cats and dogs, killing them, skinning them, butchering them and using them as the meat in their restaurant meals. Moderators OLD fashioned preacher Posted October 30, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 30, 2013 There used to be a Chinese restaurant near the 23rd Street Flea Market in Chattanooga, Tn that had a reputation for the best egg rolls around. Somewhere around 1985-88 they were shut down due to the 2 dozen or so puppies hanging in the freezer. But -- they WERE the best around!!!!
