ha ha ha  The author of this article criticizes "ultra-dispensationalists" on their interpretation of Mark 1617,18 then turns around and says the passage applies only to the Apostles when this is exactly what the ultra-dispensationalists teach.

I've enjoyed the show though I may not completely understand the reasoning behind it (the snake part). I'm connected with a couple of them on FB and they seem like really sincere folks who are passionate about Christ. Don't know them beyond that of course and the show only shows very little parts so you can't get a true idea of what they preach. 

 

Other than that I've enjoyed it however I do think the mission of the channel is to show Christian's looking nuts which they seem to successfully do.

 

People can be sincerely wrong. Just wanted to caution you to be careful. Sincerity and passion are what we tend to measure spirituality by, but the Bible has a different standard. "If you love me, keep my commands." Good doctrine and obedience to that doctrine are what is important.

It doesn't matter what these folks do with the snakes, they believe and preach a false, works based salvation, which basically comes down to them believing one is only secure in Jesus (and heading to heaven) so long as they are in good standing with their church and conforming to certain rules. So long as they meet these requirements they think they stand good with Jesus and will go to heaven, but if they step outside any of the requirements, they are no longer in right standing with Jesus and will go to hell unless they return to right standing.

 

It's through this false teaching the "pastors" are able to control folks, keep them in their little "churches" and dominate by fear.

 

These people are in need of the true Gospel as are all other lost folks.
