Fellow Business Executives:

As the CFO of this business that employees 140 people, I have accepted the fact that Barrack Obama will be our next President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8% but since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off eight of our employees instead. This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who will have to go.

So, this is what I did. I strolled through our parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.

If you have a better idea, let me know.

Sincerely,

Honestly, I think doing that is terrible and is certainly not a Christian way to behave, IMO. I would choose the 8 people who contribute the least to the business. The least contributors should be the first to go to optimize the business' performance with the decision.

It should be.

One thing that it is, though, is extremely juvenile. It sounds like a four year-old who just lost a game of jacks with his friend.

Do kids still play jacks these days?

If you will keep a watch out, those who go against God, it will seem everything is going well for the, there is lots of truth to this old hymn.

"Further Along"

Tempted and tried, we?re oft made to wonder
Why it should be thus all the day long;
While there are others living about us,
Never molested, though in the wrong.
Farther along we?ll know more about it,
Farther along we?ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We?ll understand it all by and by.

Sometimes I wonder why I must suffer,
Go in the rain, the cold, and the snow,
When there are many living in comfort,
Giving no heed to all I can do.
Farther along we?ll know more about it,
Farther along we?ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We?ll understand it all by and by.

Tempted and tried, how often we question
Why we must suffer year after year,
Being accused by those of our loved ones,
E?en though we?ve walked in God?s holy fear.
Farther along we?ll know more about it,
Farther along we?ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We?ll understand it all by and by.

Often when death has taken our loved ones,
Leaving our home so lone and so drear,
Then do we wonder why others prosper,
Living so wicked year after year.
Farther along we?ll know more about it,
Farther along we?ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We?ll understand it all by and by.

?Faithful till death,? saith our loving Master;
Short is our time to labor and wait;
Then will our toiling seem to be nothing,
When we shall pass the heavenly gate.
Farther along we?ll know more about it,
Farther along we?ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We?ll understand it all by and by.

Soon we will see our dear, loving Savior,
Hear the last trumpet sound through the sky;
Then we will meet those gone on before us,
Then we shall know and understand why.
Farther along we?ll know more about it,
Farther along we?ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We?ll understand it all by and by.

We who are God's children, when we do wrong God's chastening hand will fall on us, if it dosentn't, them you've got a major problem {"see Hebrews 12:6-8"}, the evil are free to do as will, remember, God only chastens His own. And remember to, life on earth is good as it gets for the unbeliever for they have only misery to look forward to beyond this life, but for all who have Jesus as Savior, the best is yet to come.

I must say, there was a time when I wonder why it went so well for those who do not recognize God, those who continually seek evil, the answer is in the Bible.

Seems though some get upset when we don't wish God speed for those who do evil. I will never wish God speed for the evil people in this world, I will pray for them that they will open their heart to God and understand their need for Jesus Christ and that they repent from their evil ways.

I personally don't want to see anyone who partakes of evil to have great success with ever task they put their mind to, gain great riches, I'm covetous that they will realize their mistake before its everlasting to late. And yes, supporting a man for president who is openly for the murder of babies is evil, and yes, abortion is nothing but murder.

Yes, it is a joke for those with a sense of humor to enjoy. I believe it is also more than just humor since higher taxes and more goverment intrusion appears inevitable.

I received it at work where we just went through a round of lay-offs. It is also possible there will be more. One way of dealing with not knowing how long one may be employed is through humor.

I also sent it to some rabid Obama supporters.
