Brain tumor/surgery

Please pray for my friend, Pat, who is having brain surgery tomorrow to remove a tumor. She is older and I don't believe she is saved so this is a big deal. Thank you!

Thank you to all who have been praying for my friend, Pat. I'm not really in the loop (also she's not in our local hospital) so I'm having a hard time getting info but I just found out that there are other issues/procedures they have to do first so the surgery to remove the tumor hasn't happened yet & scheduling it is dependent on the other procedures. I am not aware of what any of these other issues are though. So please keep praying & I will try to update you as I hear more. Thank you so much!!!!

Have an update. Still not sure what all of the "issues" they were talking about but I know that at least some if not all of it was that they found another tumor. As far as I know also benign but they are growing. She is now faced with the decision on whether or not to have the surgery due to the risks. (ie stroke, bleeding, vegetation) I might have an opportunity to drive up with Pat's sister on Tuesday to see her but I'm unsure if I'm "supposed" to or not. There are factors there that I don't want to go into. Just please pray that I will have wisdom to know whether or not I should go. And also keep praying for Pat. I have been able to call her a couple of times and sent her a card so I have been in touch with her. Thank you all so much!

Hello all! Sorry I haven't updated you recently. I only talked to Pat's sister just today and found out that Pat has a few blood clots as well now and water on the heart. There is a drain in her neck to relieve pressure on her brain..I think. And they are looking at trying to do surgery in a month on one of the tumors.
Please pray because I'm going to get to go visit her tomorrow! She isn't up for talking much due to pressure on her brain and other things so I don't know if I'll actually get to witness to her or maybe just sit there and read the Bible to her while she sleep. Just pray that I would be used however the Lord would need to use me. Thank you all so much!!!

Father. O my Lord and God, you have given us access into your throne room through the blood of your Son, our High Priest...Hebrews 4:14-16 "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." ...Sarah is needing this grace to help in her time of need as she goes to be an extention of your hand of mercy toward Pat...Lord, please as Sarah takes opportunity to visit and give to Pat the "good news" the Gospel of Jesus Christ; open the heart and mind of Pat to receive you...and administer grace toward Pat and remove any hindrance that may be there to accept the truth of the Gospel.

Lord God, please show mercy...Father, the power we know you have in healing is limitless...it goes beyond our ability to comprehend...yet it's real and alive today as it was when your Son, Jesus, walked upon this earth...please Lord, we ask first for Pat's soul's salvation as eternity is a forever and the decision we make here on this earth about our soul's destination can not be rescinded when we die...so please Jehovah Rophe, Please in, Jesus name, allow her to mind and heart take by faith the truth of the Gospel that is presented to her...and then O Lord, if it pleases you and is according to your sovereign will bring healing to her physical body...Isa 55:11 "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."...Isaiah 46:9-10 "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:"...You are God, be God...show yourself strong on sarah's behalf as she presents the love you have through her this day to Pat in her visit with her.

Lord this is not a flowerey prayer, but a sincere petition to you through the name of Jesus for the soul and physical healing of someone that is lost...and you came to seek and to save that which is lost and commanded us to pick up in the power of the Holy Spirit which you have sent us and that dwells within the believer to do as you have done i.e. presenting truth allowing the lost to hear and make their decision as to whether to accept...please Lord, in Jesus name, please...you know sarah's desire and we know your desire...that none should perish Matthew 18:14 "Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish".... but all come to the knowledge... 1Timothy 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth". Upon these truths we bring before you Pat...

Praise you and thank you for hearing the petition of those who love and are obedient to you...the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much...James 5:16 " Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much"...and our righteousness is not our own but the righteousness of Jesus through whom we pray.

I know you to be compassionate Lord, please in Jesus name, show your compassion..."I believe help thou mine unbelief" I confess my unbelief is not in the "can you" but the "will you" please forgive me and let this not, Father, by your mercy interfere with your mercy and grace toward Pat...here in I struggle with your Sovereignty and please Lord, Please, let this struggle I have not keep you from doing your powerful abilities on Pat's behalf. In prayer I faithfully hold up my corner of the cot..Mark 2:1-5 "And again he entered into Capernaum, after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee"...

Well I believe without a doubt that the Lord told me to go on this visit. I have no idea why though because when I got there she was in surgery and didn't get out while I was there so I never got to see her. I don't know what He was doing but I'm still glad I went. Don't really know anything new on her health though. Going to try to call and see if I can find anything out tonight. Thanks for your prayers! :-)
