My family are I are moving from Germany to Maryland and we fly 1 June. We'll be flying into Dallas and visiting the in laws in Southeast Oklahoma. Then drive up to NY and visit my parents and finally head down to Maryland. Ask for your prayers on our travels, tried my best to keep traveling to non Church service days and ask that you pray we can find churches easily on the trip from Texas to NY (plan on stopping at the Creation Museum on the way up as well).

Will you be leaving the military?

No, for a long time I didn't really know what to do so I left it in God's hands because I know He knew better than I. Prayed earnestly that if He wanted me out of the military that He would do something that would not allow me to re-enlist. Of course, I asked for things that wouldn't be detrimental to my health or kill me...

I went through the process continuing in prayer but never got the idea He didn't want me to go through with it. So, I have another 4 years on contract. I do believe this was the first time I wasn't super proud about re-enlisting (if I be truthful with myself) but I didn't feel convicted about leaving the military. Think the main reason is that there aren't any other companies out there that really are much better in regards to lifestyle and social changes. I feel I can still separate myself adequately as I have in the past.

Well, thank you for your continued service - even in a day and age where compromise and wickedness abound...but they abound in every area, not just the military!
