Jerry, Did you know if diabetes is in your family history that having a prOBlem with being HYPOglycemic is much more common in those families as well. If eating makes you feel better than you may be having LOW blood sugar issues. I'm hypoglycemic but have several cousin's that are "Brittle" diabetic's ...just a term used when their diabetes is very difficult to control. Actually a few ore on insulin pumps 24/7. YET my blood sugar will just plummet so you have to feed me then I'll feel much better. Go get all your test's done! You can try eating six smaller meals with a protein, a fat and a starch-this will cause you to feel better IF it's LOW blood sugar (hypoglycemia)...Hope this gave you info you might desire. I'm the same way. It's what I don't know that concern's me not what I learn is the prOBlem. in Christ's love! His by Grace

are you seeing your regular doctor? ER doctors do not do a very good jOB at diagnoses. when I was pregnant, I thought I was having a miscarriage due to pain, but ER Lab blood work couldn't see I was pregnant at all, so they told me I wasn't pregnant. . they discovered I had UTI (tract infection), which is true, I really did have it. I didn't believe them so I took another pregnancy test later that night and it showed I was pregnant loud and clear. And I had an appointment for ultrasound with an gyn/OB and even she confirmed it. you see, that's one of my sample how ER don't always get the right diagnoses and that it is better to see a doctor who specialize your condition

My heart keeps going through spells where it is racing so fast, then I need to sleep. I am so worn out.

I've had that. The first time I'm pretty sure it was stress related because it was the day our oldest son ran away. It occurred several times after that over the next several months. Then it didn't happen again until this summer after mowing with a push mower. It got so frequent and bad (each time I would mow) that I finally went into debt and bought a riding mower. Since then, (June or July) I've not had that prOBlem again.

I never went to a doctor about it but from what I found on the internet such a thing could lead to a heart attack. Each time it happened, afterwards I felt very run down and tired.

The hospital still has not contacted me yet. I took the initiative and got tested for diabetes today, but I have to wait for 2 days or so for the results. Today I actually feel a lot better - which really makes me think that all of this was complications from the flu shots last week or from the flu I had a couple of weeks ago (ie. still affecting me somewhat).
