Here I am sitting in my car waiting for my wife to text me that she’s ready to come pick her up, and there’s a person eating their lunch in their vehicle on the run. We’re living the busy life, work, run, and more work, eat and sleep. i’m not complaining about this. I did it myself for many years, but this cannot be healthy. Have a nice day and enjoy your lunch.. ?

I trust everyone is having a great Memorial Day. With that being said... When cooking your hotdog on the grill, do you like them Burnt and Crispy or just warmed up?

Due to our busy schedules, my wife for the last year has been buying ready to make meal kits and also purchasing meat through Butcher Box. It seems the ones that get delivered the most frequent is Butcher Box and Green Chef. We make a monthly trip to Costco for all the other stuff, but the meals are good and we don't always make it like the instructions say, but gives us inspiration. ? https://www.greenchef.com/ https://www.butcherbox.com/ Does anyone else do this?

My wife cooks breakfast every morning when she can, and I cook supper in the evenings. For the last five years, most mornings she has had 3 eggs and one slice of bacon, as I've had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich...but we're looking to change things up. We've tried many casseroles for breakfast, but we'd sort of like to get away from so many eggs. Are there any quick, protein packed recipes or make aheads that we can make and just pop into the microwave each morning for the sake of time and clean-up? We've looked at several things in the old Taste of Home magazines we had, and nothing really seemed to be "our cup of tea!" What do you make ahead of time and freeze until n…

So, I went to this family owned Italian restaurant with my husband, not long ago and had the best Italian dish I’ve ever had!! It was called Chicken Aristocrat. I had never heard of it before, it was a thin chicken breast, topped with a thin and lightly breaded slice of eggplant, and a slice of mozzarella, on top. It was served on top of spaghetti and the sauce was soo yummy. It was a pink sauce, I got to ask the waitress what was in it and she was nice enough to tell me! It was made with cream, parmesan, and a bit of marinara. I could tell there was basil in it, too. It kinda reminded me of creamy tomato basil soup! (Not surprisingly.) lol! I’m going to try to make…

YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT THE QUEEN GIVES HER STAFF FOR CHRISTMAS Dec 25, 2017 Hint: it's edible. The concept that the best gifts are edible ones is a popular one. In fact, it’s one even embraced by the Monarchy. Every year Queen Elizabeth II gives each one of her 1500 staff members a Christmas gift. Just what exactly? A Christmas pudding. The traditional alcohol-laden dessert is a favourite in the UK and the Queen herself has a reported soft spot for it. And while the edible gift may be a traditional present around yuletide, just where the pudding is purchased from may surprise you. In a display of an increasingly budget-conscious clima…

Does anyone know anything about cooking and using different types of mushrooms? I'm only familiar with the morel mushrooms I pick in spring. What about Portobello, button and other mushrooms? I see the Portobello and button mushrooms packaged in the fresh vegetable section but have no idea of how to prepare them, how they taste, what they go with or anything else. I also see different types of mushrooms in cans and have had some of one of those mixed in an omelet last year but don't even remember what it was like. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
