Hey everyone! I put this on the introduce your self forum but I figured since I am a teen that I would put it in here too since I will most likey be in here a lot. so here it is... Just wanted to say that I'm new here. I am Jennifer and I am 17 years old. I was saved March 7,2003. I love going to church, teen activities, and pretty much everything involving church. I will be a senior in high school this year. I hope to learn and grow while being on here! I hope to meet everyone! Jessie you have been messing with the calendar again haven't you. Just because you have the same birthday as me doesn't mean that you have to go put it all over the internet (well that might be a bit of an exageration(sp?)). Jessie I am just kidding all though if it weren't for you and the rest of the annoying little people in our class that spred it because of my sis hardly noone would know when by birthday is.

You probally have noticed that our server has been running slow as of late and coming to find out it is from hardware failure. OB is burning up the internet. Anyways our server is being transferred over to another server and sometime today there will be a brief outage while our IPs are switched over. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and thank you for your patience.

Ok, my Question, well, It is odd... Is it wrong to be jealous? I do not mean in the severity that you hate the person because of your jealousy. I mean to be jealous of someone because of their relationship with your firends... (a closer relationship not bf gf type thing). The reason I ask is because In the Bible It says that God is a jealous God.... and since he cannot sin..... hmmmm? what do you think I would like to hear yur opinion. :mrgreen: :oops:

We are so sad here in Guatemala--they almost made the World Cup. Even sadder is that we misunderstood who we were supposed to pull for in the Trinidad and Tobago game and were pulling for the wrong team to win. T&T did win and thus Guatemala was out. Everybody here thinks Argentina or Brazil will win, but I'm holding out hope for the States (privately--not a good thing to make known around here right now as the States and Central America are not too friendly). hey guys i was wonderin wat kind of shcools yall go to wat the dress code is like and stuff like that i go 2 a christian school called temple baptist school the guys have 2 wear collard shirts and good lookin jeans and on chaple day they wear ties and dress pants and the girls wear shirts that r modest that arent tight,to low and we wear skirts that arent short but they come to our knees and like our shoes cant be to tall the heel cant be like 2" high. i was just wondrin about othrs school rules cause ive nevr been 2 any othr than mine.

Online Baptist has been around since the year 2000 and since that time it has been hosted on Brother Bens server. He has spent a lot of time and money to keep this website going and we all owe him a BIG thank you. Right now the Lord has moved Brother Ben in a different direction and he no longer has the resources to maintain the server so he has handed me the reins to take over maintaining the server both financially and upkeep. Lets pray that I do not push too many buttons. Let's give BroBen a big thank you for the past 6+ years of God honoring message boards. Thank you BroBen.

Ohio had a trifecta President Trump, Senator Moreno (R) replaced Brown (D), and NO on issue 1! From what I hear the nation also has a trifecta of republicans for president, senate, and house. I hope the opportunity isn't squandered. -
Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
