Hi all, Thank you for all who have prayed for me and given to help me get to Uganda this past summer. I would like to ask you all to pray for me that God would give wisdom, I am praying about going to Baptist Bible Translators Insitute in August, however finances are a problem right now. Basically their program is 9 months and you pay 200 a month to live in a house, only problem is that due to the nature of the program, you cannot work. So I have to have the money before going, also I have a loan payment that is about 160 a month, so I would need money for that as well, plus money for food. Basically I would really like to go and do this, and eventually go …

Please pray for me. I've had depression issues for many years, usually well controlled with medication. Unfortunately, I lost my health insurance last summer and along with that, access to doctors and medication. The walls are starting to really close in again and I feel that my entire existence is useless and a burden to my husband, who has to support me because I don't have a job. I also was in a car accident about a year ago and the daily pain from it isn't helping any. There are so many things I can't do as a result of my accident and it's not helping me feel any better about anything. ***Please don't tell me that medication is baloney. You don't know what I've …

So I have a gentleman (and I use the term loosely) who like to poke the bear. He knew I did my best at work Monday but I had vendors and supervisors in my way at work. Something the other employee did not have to work around the day before but I did. I don't know the other guy maybe better than me but after I did my best and this person tells the other guy he needs to train me. Will let's just say I blew up and told him to go to hell. I can easily justified that he had it coming; but were does that leave me when I go to the Father in prayer for the mercy and grace in my life thru Christ, Matthew 6:14-15. Please pray for me in this situation; especially s…

Well, I'm graduating in a few weeks, and I have not found a woman to be my wife, as many of you know I am going to Uganda in the summer, and I suspect I may end up going there full-time as a missionary. I would really prefer not to have to go go alone. One of the heaviest burdens and desires in my heart right now is to be married, It is a trial and a challenge right now, So I have a few requests: 1. That God would give me a godly wife. 2. That God gives me grace to endure the trial that singleness is to me. 3. That God would begin to give me victory over sins that would hinder marriage and that he would prepare me for marriage. Thanks you.

http://www.peoplegroups.org/explore/GroupDetails.aspx?peid=15124 This is a unengaged and unreached people group in Uganda, they have no bible in their language and are 100% Islam, they happen to be geographically right in the same areas that one of my friends over there is working with the Lugbara tribe. I am praying about going to the Nubi people group. My training that I am receiving here at Baptist Bible Translators Institute equips me for such a task as going and starting a work like this. Pray for these people!

Please pray for my husband's Uncle George. About an hour ago, he choked on a sandwich and quit breathing. They rushed him to the hospital, but he was unresponsive. I haven't heard anything since then, so I'm hoping no news is good news. Uncle George is the one who married Randy and me. He is a good, kind, godly man and we love him dearly. He has several grown kids and grandkids, as well as a few greats. We know that, if he passes, he will be in Glory. But we will miss him so. If you wouldn't mind adding my hubs to that prayer, I'd be ever so grateful. Being out here on the west coast with most of the family in the midwest makes it hard when family goes. An aunt …

A co-worker is on the ropes of getting fired because his boss accused him of falsifying his time card when he clocked in and out of work. He's from West Africa (Liberia) and moved to the U.S about 15 years ago. His is a true Christian and loves the Lord, and I've known him for 10 years and he is an example of someone who would never do such actions. He has four children to take care of and without his income, his entire life (including his children) will fall apart and he won't be able to pay his mortgage. I told Clarence that it was a mistake on his part and nothing falsifying or deliberate, so there should be nothing to worry about if he trusts in the Lord with all of h…

My mother is 81 years old, and although she would say things as, "I wish I could just die now and go to Heaven." This is because her overall health is declining, and she's in physical pain almost 24/7. Her doctor prescribed her some anti-anxiety medication to help fall asleep at bedtime. That is the only reprieve when she has any relief from chronic pain and anxiety. It breaks my heart that everytime I visit her, she looks more emaciated than the last visit. She believes in God, but she doesn't realize that just intellectual assent won't save her. Please pray that God will help her to understand the message of the Gospel, and Salvation by Grace through Faith in the finish…

Please pray for a friend of mine, whose mom is casting Satanic spells on me and him. I think she sacrifices cats to cause hexes. I've seen cat body parts to where the incisions are almost flawless, almost like a perfect drumstick. All the blood is completely drained. Every time she calls, I experience an illness. The same which happens to my friend, but much, much worse. We share the same afflictions. I only now communicate via phone and email with my friend because the Lord told me to. But all the symptoms that he has, I also had, and he lives over 50 miles away and I haven't seen him in a while. I don't want to mention the symptoms because they are almost endless and di…

Please pray for a friend of mine named Jeff. He has killed someone in the past (served his prison time). I don't know if he is saved or not now because only God can judge his inner heart. He prays for people now and seems to care more about them more than before. He is on Dialysis and only has lass than a year to live. This brings me to tears because I want to make absolutely certain that he is a child of God, and I want to see him in heaven. Jesus did not come for the righteous, but sinners to repentance. May the LORD have mercy on his soul and bring Him to Christ as his LORD and Savior.

The last month or so I've been struggling with past traumas more frequently than usual. I've been feeling pretty down, not really having any energy, generally depressed and anxious. My mind is always scattered and I feel like a weight is holding me down. I'm not finding relief, please pray for me. Thank you

David is one of my closest friends, and I consider him like a brother. He has a serious problem with drugs and alcohol. He went to Christian counseling classes a few years back but has recently backslid seriously. I think the reason is because him and his mom don't get along. They cuss at each other and his mom smacks him around like a ragdoll while on drugs. I've noticed that there are several dark entities in his home that manifest in physical form. A 7ft man in a fedora hat and trench coat that no light can penetrate him. he is a solid figure with no distinguishable features that can be made out. Then there is another one that manifests as a doll that moves. Then there…

I find myself in a place where I have no idea how we will pay this month's bills. I've been supporting my family as a freelance web developer for the past 10 years and we've always had money coming in from somewhere, but my freelance clients have dwindled down to just a few and the website I was relying on as a financial backup also petered out and is now defunct. I know God will come through and provide, but the stress of times like this is always what's worse. So I'm asking for prayer for strength to trust in God's plan. He knows what He's doing, but it's very hard not to worry and fret over every little thing that I do, whether I'm doing enough, too little or too much.

In February, we had to get a new heating and air system. Thousands of dollars unexpected. In July, we had to get a new roof. Thousands of dollars unexpected, but not surprising. Yesterday, our hot water heater went out. It's gas, and a small water leak is the culprit which causes the pilot light to go out. We are debating on replacing the water heater or getting a tankless water heater. Due to a current "special" offered by a local propane company, the tankless will be only a couple of hundred dollars more than a traditional water heater. From my limited knowledge, tankless water heaters are great. Can anyone shed any light on this...tankless v…

Tragedy is widespread throughout the US right now, with the flooding and damage from Harvey and the coming damage from Irma. Then the west is burning - literally hundreds of thousands of acres (almost 100,000 in WA alone) gone. We have been smoke-covered since Monday night. Thankfully, to this point, we have not had any major fires. One small one the other day, but it was quickly contained. But Sequim is a prairie. And so it doesn't get much rain in the summer anyway. This summer, though, we've only had rain once since May, and it wasn't much at all. We are dry. I would greatly appreciate it if you would join us in prayer for rain. It is in the forecast for tom…

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, This is a prayer for Pastor Curtis Omo. He lives in Houston and is facing the tropical storm Harvey. Thankfully (to God), his house hasn't been torn apart by the storm and the flood. Please pray that our Lord God will keep him safe in the midst of this, and through it.

Our circle of friends and acquaintances is quite large, so we know there will be lots of reasons for prayer, times of grief, times of joy, etc. Well, this is one of those times of grief. I just found out that a friend of ours has passed on to glory. Yes, I'm thankful he is with our Savior, but my heart breaks for his wife and children. His wife and two of their daughters (one married, w/their first grandchild, the other probably never leaving home) were back east visiting their third daughter, who is interning at a church for the summer (helping with the children's ministries). They arrived back home in IN this morning to find him dead. It is believed that he d…

One of the members of our church has an aortic aneurysm. It began in her groin and the doctors found that it had grown or spread, whatever they do, up to her throat! In a very short time. She had to be flown to Seattle and is being prepped for surgery tomorrow. She has to have 3 stents put in, in 3 locations. So it is actually going to be 3 surgeries. It is major, and it is very dangerous. She is saved, but we aren't sure about her husband. Please join us in prayer for her, and please pray for family. There are some lost family members, so it would be great if they got saved. Her name is Debbie. The surgery begins tomorrow morning at 8:30, Pacific time. …

My hubs wore a heart monitor for a couple of weeks and went in today to get the results. They aren't what we were hoping for. He has A-fib as well as atrial flutter. Both of these cause fluttering and heart racing, just in a different way. So the cardiologist told him he should probably have an atrial ablation. She is referring him to a cardiologist who does ablations. This cardiologist is based in Seattle but comes to her office in Sequim once a month. He'll be in town next Friday, but Randy figures he's probably already booked up so it'll likely be next month before he can get in to see him. If he does have the ablation done, he'll have to go to Seattle for it…

There's some people in my life, that I suspect, aren't saved. Some people on my husband's and Mom's side of the family, and one of my Dr.'s. Although, I don't know if my Dr. Is a Christian, he doesn't have very Godly things on his Facebook, and anytime I bring up anything Christian related, he changes the topic quickly. On my husband's side, I only know for sure that his brother named Jacob, says he's not religious. I'm not sure about his other siblings, though. On my Mom's side, the ones i know aren't beleivers are, my Grandpa, Uncle, and a few of my cousins. Please pray for these people, in my life. I really want them to know the Lord.

My heart is so very heavy with burden, but I'm thankful that I don't have to bear it alone. I'm so glad that I can cast all to the Lord, and that there are others joining me in prayer. For several years now, I've been the assistant to a local museum's curator. Not long after I started volunteering there, I shared the Gospel with her. Seemingly, nothing came from that...but thru-out the years I've been trying to say a little here and a little there, and to always live my faith. Every time I would head to work, I would lift her up in prayer. Now...it has turned into a very dire situation. In March she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She'd already had a 4-way byp…

Sadly, a young boy drowned this past Tuesday. He was 12 years old. He and his family came with their church from Chicago to the church where we were members in Indiana. The church in Chicago borrowed F'haven's facilities. Some of the boys were swimming (I heard there were about 8 boys in the pool, with 2 adults there for supervision). Davion drowned in the 3ft section. At this point I have not heard whether it was a physical reason or not. Lots of people have been trying to smear the church saying that a 12-year-old drowning in 3ft of water is highly suspicious. However, anyone who knows anything knows that adults have drowned in far less water. sigh...the devil has his m…
