Last night while we were sleeping, someone(s) came in our apartment and stole a few things of ours. It has shaken us up because they came as close to us as needed to get my cell phone off the night stand right next to me. We all three slept through it all. :sad I'm at an internet cafe now because our laptop was one thing they got. However, it was an old and tired laptop and was getting close to needing to be replaced. I'm not sure when we'll be able to do that though, but I hope soon! We knew our back door wasn't super secure, and now we know to do something about that. Today as I was handing out tracks I noticed so many hard hearts and I felt such compassion for them. I know many people struggle with so much but I can't see how some one who is lost can go through hard times because they don't have that friend that they can always call on like Christians do. I felt like crying because I am so concerned for peoples souls and I know they are dead without Christ. I know all of us have people who are not saved that we love and think about. What we can do is pray that God will work in them and through them but at the same time try to be someone who can be a difference to them whether it be witnessing to them or acting like God commands of us…

I was scraping of old paint on the outside of our house - trying to get it painted before the snow flies - and a small paint chip flew into my eye. It is hurting very much. I just might go to the doctor to have it removed. I have tried an eye wash cup, but it is not helping.

Would you pray for this situation please.... This past week we were getting ready to start Sunday School a lady rode by the church in a "wheelchair bicycle." (The "bicycle" pedals are high where the handlebars would be and they are operated by hand instead of legs.) We waved hello and she went down the road but quickly returned. "Come join us this morning" I shouted. She rode into the parking lot, I invited her into church, and up the ramp she rode with her German Shepperd at her hand ..... I was out the front spraying and cutting off the dead flowers off my rose bushes this morning when my neighbour Kelly walked by. She stopped to admire the roses and we fell into conversation. She asked me lots of questions and I was able to answer them and give her my testimony. I heard the most horrible news from my husband. My sister's oldest son (the one I complained about as far as her divorce) was in a car accident. His life is threatened, and they had to call a helicoper to the nearest hospital. He could die and I am scared because I love him so dearly. I am in tears right now.

A girl I that went to the same school as me (she was 5 grades higher than me) had a heart attack recently and died today. She is survived by her husband and 7 children - ages 18 years down to 2 weeks old. Her maiden name (since I don't know her married name) was Lorinda VanZee.

I would like to ask everyone to pray for my dad. Last saturday he was unloading some 2X4's off the racks of a pickup. He somehow stepped wrong and fell on his back. Ever since he has been haveing chest pains. He has had bad experiances with doctors in the past, and has no faith in them. So he will not go to be checked out. I am asking prayer for a 14 year old girl Lena who has attended my church since she was 6 or 7 years old. Just this summer her mother took her to Nigeria and left her there taking away her passport. She has called me several times and I have contacted all the legal people I could to try and get her some help. The US Consulate said they can't go and get her that she would need to get to Lagos where the consulate is in order to help her get back to the USA. Please pray for my husbands salvation. My husband, Pastor and I just got off the phone after a two and a half hour conversation. We did talk about our marriage but we finally got to the root of the issue with my husband. He said that he was lost. Most of you probably know that my 2 1/2 yr old son has had constant hives since early July. So far nothing has showed up wrong with him whatsoever, yet the medicines are not doing a real great job keeping them at bay. He is on a short course of steriods but they only keep most of the hives away during treatment and they come back afterwards...plus steriods aren't that safe. The drs have a few more tests they can do but pretty much they have no clue. I came home to my wife tonight and she was reading her Bible. More specifically she was reading about a husband and wife's roles as God has designed them. My wife is a very opinionated spirit. Hi everyone. On July 1st, I was baptized as a Mormon. I fell away from their church (thankfully) and went back to being Catholic and Baptist for a few separate times. Recently I went back to their church. I am going to start going to my local independent fundamentalist Baptist church tonight. Man oh man. I got a mess of blues. I just don't know that me and my family are gonna sign on to a sound church. I have been praying that God would send the Holy Spirit to guide us to a solid IFB church. Now, i am not so certain that the church we're attending is that one??!! As i have mentioned before. The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers. -

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue.
