Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am not IFB but have and still do frequent the IFB church occasionally on Sundays. It’s like I get my fill and it’s good for a month or so. It’s strange I know but to me it’s just a different feeling one gets at the IFB church that can’t be experienced elsewhere. Sometimes it’s just what I need I look forward to participating in the forum and getting to know you all.

I'm Priscilla Pinkowski, and live in Illinois. I was saved in an IFB church but attended a Pentecostal church for many years. I've returned to my roots in my "old" age, desiring the simple, quiet, more Scriptural worship of the IFB. I have two wonderful grown children and 4 beautiful grandchildren with my husband of 34 years, Rich. I found this website when I Googled "IFB chat." I look forward to a rewarding membership in this group. :)

Hey everyone! I guess I should introduce myself. I'm a Texas boy, through and through, even though I've relocated up to the Pacific Northwest. I just finished serving 6 years in the Navy and now work in Security. About 8 months ago, I was attending a Men's Advance with my church when I accepted the call to preach. I started training for it once I got back from deployment and was done with the Navy for good. I am currently acting as the Youth Director at my church, under the close guardianship of my Pastor. I look forward to growing in the ministry and making new friends across the country/world. See you in the forums!

Oh, well, I'm getting to the age I forget details like that. I hope to communicate with many of you and that it will be a profitable time. The Lord bless each of you.

Hi! My name is Celina and I have been a Chistian for almost a year now. I am from Manila, Philippines. Now, I have not been baptised yet, [water,] because of church- issues... I am thinking about seeking another one. I have always been using KJV and I love it. My whole church uses NIV and I do not agree with some of their standings. I ask Papa [God] if I should leave or no. I know He is able to provide and lead me to the right church who will help me grow and water me. I need some suggestions of churches... If possible around Cubao area.. Grace to all of you and may all be increased in faith. Amen. Celina

Hello everyone! I am a new Christian. I converted to Christianity from Islam. My parents converted to Islam so I was raised in the faith: a Caucasian girl who was a Muslim. But my parents have an open mind and they said I didn't have to stay with Islam if I didn't want to. What is an independent fundamental Baptist? There are some Baptist churches in my area but I thought all of the Baptist churches were united. Can someone explain? Thanks.

My name is Stephanie. I am 28 and was not raised in church. My mom was, and taught me about God, but she was out of church for many years. I finally started going as a bus kid and got saved around 14 years old. Through a series of family tragedies, I got out of church at about 18 years old (at the same time my parents go into church). My parents are both saved and active church members now! Anyway, when I was 21 I got married to my 1st husband. I started going to church again a few months later. Less than a year later when I was 22, he committed suicide. I was single for about 3 1/2 years and then met my current husband at church and got married in 2009. Our son was bor…

Hello. I am new to this board. I found it while doing a Google search for Baptists message boards. I was saved at the age of about 3 1/2. I am interested in Biblical archaeology and somewhat in secular archaeology. My Grandpa is saved but turned away from God and has become a claiming atheist so I have been exposed to many supposed contradictions and "problem passages" in Scripture. I have discovered or learned the answer to many of these so feel free to ask me sometime. I would like to create a topic on these subjects if they don't already exist. I KNOW there are no errors or contradictions in scripture. I believe I will enjoy the fellowship here. Thansk. <…
