Thank goodness he doesn't drive a garbage truck.  The garbage truck in our area has sloggans painted on each side that say on one side "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Double Your Garbage Back" and on the other side "Used Meals on Wheels".

Is that my satisfaction or the garbage man's satisfaction? Here recycling is insane, if you put recyclables in the trash bag and the garbage man notices, he hands you the garbage back. In front of everyone. It may or may not have happened to me one or two or ten times.   :nanner:  :bawling:

So far, recycling is still vonuntary here. We are only allowed to put certain paper and plastics into our recycle tub. I don't really care about the recycle aspect, I simply look at using the recycle tub as a place to put "clearn" trash which they make an extra trip to pick up. That means the garbage man comes by one day for the tub, then the next for the rest of the garbage. Two trash pick ups a week.

I just leave the recyclables sitting out front for the people who walk or bicycle around the neighborhoods looking for anything recyclable(which includes but is not limited to: cardboard, plastics, Styrofoam, glass, paper, cans, etc). I don't normally have anything left on the day the recycling truck comes down the road(and it follows the garbage truck singing a different tune). We have trash pick up five days a week, they don't come by on Wednesday or Saturday, but in some larger cities it's seven days a week.

For your listening pleasure:

I plan to get some more devotional time in after dinner. Then I have things to do later this afternoon. If there's any money left after shopping today, maybe we'll have supper out tonight.
