We still don't have AC in our house. Currently 80-some degrees inside with 87% humidity.

Ugh! Thankfully we have a really good window unit.

My hubby got home with good news. Our mechanic added freon and couldn't detect a leakin the hose. There may be a prOBlem with one of the caps, which won't be very expensive to replace. He wants to see how long the freon lasts this time. Best part? He didn't charge us anything! w00t! God is good! (My hubby's car is in the shop awaiting a transmission, so saving money on this was extra great!)

I have a 2/60 air conditioner for my truck.  2 windows down and 60 mph.

Saw a video not long back where a guy built an AC using a fan, an igloo cooler, some PVC elbows, and a block of ice.  Pretty cool

Said it cooled the room quickly.

Cut two circular holes in top of igloo cooler.  use Duct Tape to attach a PVC Elbow to one of the holes in the top  Lay the fan over the other hole, securing it with duct tape.  Add block of ice in the cooler and replace lid.  Turn fan on, the circulating fan blows cold air out that comes off of the ice.

They say it is cheaper to run than a regular AC Unit.

I spend more time keeping my PC cool in Summer than on myself. Or so it seems

 

I live a few km from the beach and according to climate change experts I will be living right next to it in a matter of years.

We had some clouds earlier but now that the sun is full out the temperature and humidity have both shot up. Supposedly a bit of a cool down coming later next week.

This time of year a cool down prOBably won't last long. Then again, maybe that crazy weather guy is right and winter is going to start in September!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
