we had quite a rain storm last night. the whole front yard was flooded

I'm glad I got out early and mowed the yard. About 10 minutes after I finished it started raining. Then in another 10 minutes it was pouring rain. All this after the weatherman said no rain this morning and only about a 30% chance of rain late in the afternoon.

Having a bit of rain...there's a typhoon raging outside and water coming down the stairs like a waterfall... fun night.

May the Lord bless and keep you through the storm!

No typhoon here, but we did have a leak in the roof earlier in the year which somehow directed the leaked rainwater to the window frame area over our stairway. That gave us a virtual waterfall on our stairs until the rain stopped and we fixed the leak.

For the moment the typhoon has quieted down, it's still hovering over the country, but in my area at least there is a gentle rain and breeze, hopefully it continues and doesn't get worse so I can get the water all mopped up.

Still some clouds here but I think the sun is trying to break through. In the meantime, the birds are happily singing and that's rather nice.

No typhoon here (Hope things have cleared up, Li Bai), but we had a doozy of a thunderstorm last night. I woke up at the onset, but was able to get right back to sleep. It's cloudy and cool today. Nice!!! :clapping:
