We typically have a summer full of hot and humid but last year the humidity wasn't near as high. It was a very nice change of pace. We did have lots of rain. It's supposed to be getting hot this weekend.

Rain, thunder, lighting, & a very dark sky, that describes this Thursday in Southwest Arkansas.

Ugh, I've got to go to town, 2 reasons, to get a hair cut & or a licences to wear it long, plus I'm out of blood pressure med, the VA is late getting it to me.

It was cloudy and windy earlier but when it came time to go to town it started raining.

We had a great time, some summer people made it back North to stay for a few months. We are walking through the Proverbs, we are in chapter 15 now.

Nothing going on at our church this week. Our pastors were supposed to be out of town at some conference and interior work was schedualed for various parts of the church this week. However, we had two deaths so our pastors were only able to spend one day at the conference so they could come back for the funerals and to be with the families of the deceased. Even so, the interior work on our church went on and thus everything that was cancelled for this week has remained cancelled. The work should be finished tomorrow.

We still have rain and wind. Way to much rain this spring.

You've got that right Jerry! I just mowed again Tuesday and also had to refill my gas cans. It's raining right down now and could all day. Supposed to be hot and without rain tomorrow.

Our pastor is preaching through the book of Luke. Yesterday he preached on the Lord's Prayer in Luke 11. An excellent sermon.

Then, in adult Sunday school, our pastor is conducting an overview of the Bible. We are in Exodus and yesterday we began discussing the 10 Commandments. We only through the first 3 yesterday.

In Sunday school we are in Revelation and the tribulations.

No one never knows from one Sunday to the next what my message will be on, at present time I don't know what next Sundays message will be.

It's horribly hot and humid here! I cut the grass today. I didn't do any trimming with the push mower, just used the rider and I was still soaked with sweat.
