here in SW Colorado it's been zero when we arise and highs are 30. Forcast is more of the same for at least 10 days.

It's been highs of 5 here lately....Brother Jerry, right now it is 8. A all time high for the week! We get weather just like Iowa where I live in Missouri...so I guess I'll be right at home up there.

No, actually, this is rare. Usually doesn't stay around zero around here. 20 degrees would be more typical for overnight lows.
