What's air soft? Is it a computer or online game? How do I get info. Thanksgiving break is coming up, we would love for something new to play - especially before the baby comes

It's real life, with little plastic BB looking things. Kinda like paintball. It seriously hurts! Don't know how well running around in the woods would do if you were expecting though :lol

I definitely would be a hard target to miss :frog I like paint ball but that hurts. Does this hurt as much as that?

it doesn't hurt nearly like paintball, and most airsoft guns you can barely feel. Some though, are as powerful as a bb gun, but the pellets are plastic so they don't have the density to cause harm. At worst, it feels like a bee sting, and that's from a close range sniper rifle.

Large groups play, or back yard fun. You have to call yourself out because you're the only one who knows you got hit in most cases. With large orginized games, if you're caught not calling yourself out, then you have to stand against a tree while you have about 500 rounds pumped into you by a large group of people. I watched it happen once. It was brutal... they didn't have cheep guns, that had to have hurt.

I say, Arm the baby, and you don't have to worry about how large a target you are, you'll be packing so much fire power no one will want to get near you... Think "tank"

wow... been along time sense my starcraft days....... can't... quite... remember... if there was anything bad or offensive.

wasn't a christian back when I played that game though... so it might be full of stuff and I wouldn't of noticed or cared.

I remember it being fun though.

I'm trying to get some ideas for Christmas.

Mostly PC games for me, but PS2 for the whole family (9 and 13...almost 10 and 14...year old sons and my wife and me a bit).

Sorry, I'm late, but I played Starcraft for a while. I would discourage it for a couple of reasons. One, is that there is a lot of language in the dialog before the game. Another is because of the violence and blood involved. I had a bigger problem with the language but it does have some weird elements to it. It was cool, but I felt like I shouldn't be playing it.

As far as Airsoft goes, I almost bought a gun last week. I really want to play, it sounds like a blast. We'll see. The masks would be a little bit of a pain with glasses, but I've always loved that kind of thing.
