Well the gasping and gurgling is over, the week of 1-2 hours sleep per night is ended. The 3000 mile round trip by car is still ahead.

However, whereas 7 different times in his 83 years has seen him fight death with tooth and nail -- this time he fought his body's lack of cooperation but when death came he didn't fight but left his decrepit body peacefully.

Having been saved less than a year ago and still just a babe in Christ, my father-in law was ushered into the presence of his Blessed Savior @ 2:15pm MST today.

My wife and I were there along w/ a couple from the church. The Grace of God and the Peace of God have been marvelous.

To the end of the earthly journey of a Marine and the short term of a recruit in God's Army I say ------------------

He is in the Lord's Marines! I'm sorry for your lose but sooo happy he knew the Lord as his Saviour! Pixiedust

Sorry for your loss, but I am so glad to hear that he was a child of GOD. It is a blessing to know when our loved ones pass on that they are going to see their Heavenly Father!
