Even if they were, sir, that doesn't explain why such a large people have been joining, and why they haven't been posting.

After all sir, if they were, they would probably outnumber the majority of the people they were scared of on this site.

Lurkers out number regular poster on many forums. It is normal. There can be any number of reasons why people don't want to post.

I understand a few people here and there joining a forum and forgetting about it or joining just for the sake of joining, but the high number of folks who join this site and then are never heard from is rather astounding to me.

I have to agree with Brother John here.

The strange thing is, typically only one or two people joined every 24 hours. Now it's saying around twenty or thirty are.

I suppose the BOTs are folks searching for information and our site has a post containing a key word in their search. The rest of us are regulars.

The BOTs are search engines, not real people.

Also, many times something will be going on here and a member will mention it on another board to their friends and the friends will join up here just to see what is being discussed and possibly put in their :2cents . I imagine this happens on most boards where controversial topics are discussed.

Well maybe they first have to read a lot to understand whats going on here. It is not so easy for someone new to say something to a topic that is already going for weeks. At least it is not easy for me.
Well and reading what others think is more interesting than saying what our thoughts are.

Phil 4.8---When I first joined I felt like everyone knew each other and I wasn't foollowing the topics so I just stayed quiet. Also I didn't want to interrupt a conversation. I'm really glad you joined us! Now you know me so if you see a conversation that interesting to you and I'm there--feel free to post.There are some great people here so hang out for awhile and give this a chance in Christ-pixiedust
