yes I have. All the time

I went to a chinese resturant the other day because I was in the mood for their sweet and sour chicken. Yummy :) They had mustard available, and I wanted to use it for my rice ( I like mustard on my food just like how some people like ketchup). I thought it was regular American yellow mustard and I was wrong. It turned out be very hot!

I think that it might have been wasabi, made from horse radish similar to mustard. It is normally used in Japanese foods. But I'm not quite sure if chinese restaurants use them.

it might be but it says "mustard" in English on the package, and the ingredient is similar to America Yellow mustard. The only different is that it has Chinese symbols and languages on the package and it's taste.

When I use to get picked up to go to church when I was little, the driver would hand out these super hot lollipops. It would feel as if my mouth was on fire. :frog

Wasabi is usually green, isn't it? I usually see it in a stainless steel container at the sushi bar, right next to the pickled ginger (which I like a lot :D ).

I generally like spicy food, but wasabi (Japanese horseradish) isn't on my list of favorites. Hot & sour soup is a good thing to eat if you have a cold -- Ahhhh, opens ya right up!

I kinda like things that are sour...of course it would have to be edible. The hot and sour soup I've tried had bamboo shoots, shrimp, beef, eggs, bean curd, and other ingredients. Tasty!
