I agree - there WILL be another terrorist attack, I just have no idea where or when. It's more likely than not that it will occur in Europe, but the US southern border has been wide open for some time now.

I'm not so convinced that they use American holidays to plan, but 7/4 and 7/7 should be noted, they're both within days.

Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe that nothing whatsoever has to happen before Jesus comes for His own, it could happen at any moment.

But over the years I have gotten the feeling things will get very harsh on the true Christians in America before that day.

We have it so easy, yet many of us will not use the wonderful freedoms we have for the sake of Jesus our Savior. How many of us really sacrifice anything for our Lord and Savior, how many of us deny our self, how many of us really bear our cross? Seems the ones who takes advantage of freedoms in America is the false teachers who live like kings and queens off of the Word of God.

So you think we should not support Israel

Please note I did not say that. What I said was that the US supports Israel without any questions asked. This is the cause of much hatred toward the United States. Let us go back in time. The idea of a modern state for Jews in the Palestine is a fairly new one. It came to be after the Dyrfues affair in France. Dyrfues was a Jewish, French army officer that was court martial, and it was obvious that he was innocent. Theodore Hertzal who was covering trial came to the conclusion that the only place Jews would get fair treatment was to have a state of their own. After World War 2 many people in American and Britain felt guilt over Hitler and wanted to find a place for the Jews, but that did not stop both countries from closing their borders to Jews. At this time the British had control over Palestine. Both Jewish and Arab groups were fighting over who would control the area after the British left. The British had no idea what to do so they turned it over to the UN. The UN decided on partition plan, that did not work. In this plan, the minority of the population the Jews, got the majority of the land. Of course this upset the Majority, the Arabs. Then after the 1967 war, Israel occupied the West Bank and Gaza strip. They have oppressed the people living there. They torture people, steal land, in fact the majority of the land in the West Bank that Israelis are living on was illegally occupied according to Israeli law! The Israeli army will shut whole towns down, and anyone out in the streets will be shot on sight. The human rights abuses are numerous. There is no question about that. We saw we are for freedom, democracy, and self determination of people, but we support Israel who suppresses these things. People in the Middle East see Israel as a tool of the United States. That we use Israel to punish, threaten, and humiliate the Arab world. When Israel uses an AMerican built warplane, to fire American built weapons, to kill Palestinians they find America just as guilty.

Umm, the Arabs don't want an Israeli state, period. It goes all the way back to Abraham's two sons, Isaac and Ishmael, not getting along. God gave Abraham countless descendants through Isaac, as was promised, but Abraham also has countless descendants through Ishmael. And the two will never get along on this earth.

I don't know where you get your information, but you need to take a serious look at the Arab world before you say that Israel abuses human rights! Also, get hold of a few books written by Arabs who have left Arab countries and gone into Israel and can't believe the freedom that exists there among other things.

Those in the Middle East who hate America hate her because she has freedom that they don't have. They want to see their Islamic oppression control us as it does them, and they will kill to do it.

Of course they did not. Again when Israel was created, the majority of the people living in the area where Arab. It would be like the UN cutting off a huge chunk of the United States and giving it to be a Muslim state. You would be very upset (if you are American that is). That is exactly what happened. This has a wider effect. In Islam there is the idea of the community of believers. That all Muslims are in it together. So, most Muslims have some sense of responsibility to the Palestinian people. Plus there is a significant minority of Palestinian Christians, who are being mistreated by Israel.

I don't know where you get your information, but you need to take a serious look at the Arab world before you say that Israel abuses human rights! Also, get hold of a few books written by Arabs who have left Arab countries and gone into Israel and can't believe the freedom that exists there among other things.

Without a doubt there are human rights abuses in some Arab countries. Saudi Arabia is just a little better than Saddam was. Egypt also has significant human rights problems. But so does Israel. There is more freedom in Green Line Israel, which is the border before the 1967 war. In that area Arab are citizens and can vote and things like that, but there is massive discrimination. Now, in the Occupied Territories or the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are different stories completely. The area is under military occupation. Movement is restricted. Palestinian towns are shut down by the military and anyone out in the streets is shot on sight. Palestinian land is stolen for Israeli settlements, which are illegal under international law, and against UN resolutions. Most of the land that Israeli?s live on the West Bank was acquired illegally under Israeli law! Israeli settlers have swimming pools, while the people in the Palestinian village next door do not have enough water for cooking and cleaning. Every day, Israel is killing Palestinian and blowing something up in the Occupied Territories. The reasoning goes like this. Israel oppresses the Palestinians, who are mostly Muslim, the US supports Israel, therefore the US oppresses Palestinians, and all Muslim by association. Talk to many Muslims on the streets and the things they have against the US are support of Israel, and support of Oppressive regimes a crossed the Middle East, when we talk about freedom and democracy. That, and many Muslims feel under threat from the West, politically, economically, morally, and physically.
One of the things that I found is that people assume everything is about religion. Many people in the West that everything that happens in the Middle East is about Islam. But people in the Middle East assume that everything that happens in the West is because of Christianity. Things like MTV, Hollywood, and politics.

And just so you know, Jews have longed for their homeland (which God gave them...with much more land than man has done!) for many years longer than 1948! Part of their Passover was, "Next year in Jerusalem," before a Jewish homeland was ever conceived.

The Zionist movement was started by non-religious Jews. They believed that the only place that Jews would get fair treatment was to have a state of their own. Actually there was serious interest in creating the state in land bought from Argentina.

I hope we keep right on sticking up for Israel, those who don't, they are trying to stand up against God, its not possible for man to stand against God.
